But look at those nails on the paws! They look to have NEVER been trimmed and it was likely causing them discomfort to just walk around.

His nails are super long because he got no exercise what so ever. He never walked around which usually grinds dogs nails down naturally. Shit even with his hoard accident, it could have been a healthy dog, leg injury and all. But it didn't get to live a life. It's existence was sitting on a bed with Barb, shitting on the floor, and eating absolute garbage. It has the same vacant "pls kill me" stare that Barb has. She has dementia, Snoopy just has bad luck to be picked out but people who don't care about the well being of their pets and just wanted them for selfish reasons. Guaranteed kiwis feel more for Snoopy than Chris ever did.

Hopefully Clover goes to cwcville sooner than later so he doesn't have to suffer, now alone, for much more.

Poor Snoopy. To echo what everyone else has been saying, I feel bad for the dogs still there and the dogs formerly neglected by the household, but I feel no sympathy for Barb or Chris. The only reason they probably still are allowed to have pets is because no animal welfare group is willing to get within a 10 foot radius of the Chandler home. Haven't seen pics of the living situation recently, but i'm completely sure it's still a cesspool. For their sakes, I hope any pets they get after this manage to run away. Becoming a stray has to be better than a slow death in the hoard.

Here is a Beagle pic that is standing.
That dog looks at least 10 pounds overweight.
I don't know how tall his was but:
The American Kennel Club's Official Standard for the Beagle breed states that an adult Beagle standing at 13 inches or less should weigh less than 20 pounds, while an adult Beagle standing at 13 to 15 inches tall should weigh between 20 and 30 pounds.

Looks like @The Dude really did call it back in 2013:

I have a strong feeling those dogs are obese, covered in fleas, and just sit around on a blanket all day and probably only get pet when Christian happens to look away from his vidya as they walk past him and he remembers "oh yeah, I have dogs" and gives them a quick pat on the rump. And I know for a fact they don't get bathed because the Chandlers can't even be fucked to bathe themselves, let alone their pets. And I'm also willing to bet they get fed the cheapest food the chandlers can buy.

Come to think of it, between the time Chris got the dogs and the pandemic/snoopy's death, with Chris being sociable/looking for china, it would've at least be in the dogs' best interest for Chris to take them to a dog park, cause that's where some SJWs/enablers/troons congregate. They wouldn't care what Chris looks like as long as they talk about their dogs. Live everything else, Chris blew a perfectly good opportunity.

But apparently Chris thinks walking them up steps is a chore. I can only imagine him trying to get both dogs in his car.

You don't understand! Sometimes when barb wasnt comatose in her bed I had to carry Snoopy down like 5 stairs that's like 1000 feet high and Snoopy weighed more than Pattichans dog house even! He was like 3 tons! I had to get McDonald's ice tea and apple slices with #V8NaturalEnergy and @GFuel to rehydrate and reenergize my root chakra and good vibes among which.

What a complete shock Chris couldn't give enough of a shit to do the bare minimum of care. An empathic and loving soul, as always!

Really though, I'm feeling for any animals in his care and any that may be in the future.. Snoopy's claws were horrendous, so not only did the poor guy have a supposedly messed up leg that his massive weight definitely didn't help, but his paw's tendons were probably shot from neglect. Every step was very likely painful, and with age could've came arthritis on top of everything else in result from a total lack of upkeep.
Rest in peace. You deserved so much better, Snoopy.

Chris has told me that Snoopy died in his sleep overnight and has been buried with the help of some neighbors. He was over a decade old and had a bad leg due to an accident he had before Chris adopted him.

dogs are amazing creatures. loyal, even to the most pathetic of us till death.

rest in peace doggy.

did Bob walk the dogs?
As far as I know, Bob may have walked Patti, or told Chris to walk her. Other than that, most of the time Patti was enclosed in her pen outside.
Chris and Barb got the Beagles shortly after Bob died. If Bob were still alive, I personally think he would have had reservations against his wife and son getting more animals, but like everything else, Bob would have to stand down and let them.

Barb and Chris didn't adopt those dogs and got them from a backyard breeder when they were puppies. I met both of them shortly after they they them and neither of them had any injuries. More than likely Snoopy suffered from being obese which caused joint issues.
I assume part of the hoard collapsed on him. They probably didn't even take him to a vet.
