Pretty sure I'd drink paint thinner before I drink Soylent.Drink a bottle of Soylent, grow a shitty beard and cross the point of no return.
What kind of games do you like?
AI: The Somnium Files might be something to check, since it involved the same writer as the Zero Escape series. No mention of The Nonary Games coming to Switch, but it seems that AI might come out....The exception to this is of course visual novel games... and I mean games like the Zero Escape or Phoenix Wright series, not some creepy "let's try to fuck a highschooler" bullshit like Conception.
Yeah if you don't like platformers, BotW or weeb games I'd say return itPretty sure I'd drink paint thinner before I drink Soylent.
I enjoy weird as fuck games like Katamari Damacy, Deadly Premonition, Killer 7, and Viscera Cleanup Detail. I do have a soft spot for Suda 51 games (often much to my own detriment), so I know there is that No More Heroes 3 game to look forward to.
I like RTS games, which a special emphasis on tower defense games like X-Morph and Sanctum.
Platformers are fine but I don't care much for the collect-a-thon aspect to many of them.
RPGs and JRPGs are okay, but I'm picky. I despise characters whose background story is "I have amnesia" which eliminates like 75% of all JRPGs. I do have a soft spot for Zelda, although the little bit of Breath of the Wild I did play was... okay? I assume it gets better after you get some gear that doesn't break after a dozen swings.
Weeb games are fine so long as they don't waste my time and try to be profound. I don't want some saucer eyed fuck wearing a dozen belts and carrying a sword the size of a Buick giving me a 20-minute monologue about existentialism.

FPS's are grand, although realitsically the only FPS I'd be interested to play on a Switch is Metroid Prime 4.
Racing games are okay, faster the better. Like F-Zero GX fast.
I don't do multiplayer often, so games like Mario Kart and Mario Party are lost on me.
They still haven't fixed that? Good grief. It's all fun and games until the analog sticks begin to drift.
The only reason why the "free repairs" are being offered is because of a lawsuit. That and until they acknowledge the joycon stick drift issue, demonstrate it's been fixed and start shipping out (free) replacements (or offering free repairs) for affected units, they're not getting another dime from me for their hardware. It's just inexcusable that they haven't even admitted it's a problem at all, much less offered to fix it.
In my opinion it doesn't, and is one of the most underwhelming games (and probably the worst Zelda) that I've ever played, but this is a highly unpopular opinion. A lot of people seem to really love it.I assume it gets better after you get some gear that doesn't break after a dozen swings.

If you're into anime or "owning the libs", try this volleyball imported game.
Huh that's weird, I'm kind of in the opposite boat to you - botw is by far my favourite zelda and xc2 is my least favourite xeno game - yes, even including xcx and the saga games. I would say botw starts to fall apart once you reach the third divine beast, whereas outside of lttp and wind waker all the zelda games fall apart after the first or second dungeon. If you like JRPGs get Xenoblade 2.
I'm just finishing it up, completed all the quests, collected all the blades, bought all the shop deeds including the 12 Nopon one, killed all the elite bosses including the level 130 tyrannotitan and the level 99 boss that you feed items to throughout the game. It's a very good game and only has some hang ups like the stupid gatcha mechanics that are in there for some reason and the Mercenary missions which are WAIT 2 HOURS FOR YOUR TEAM TO RETURN type passive bullshit which will hinder you if you come across field skill locks that need certain abilities or elements.
In comparison I also went full competionist with breath of the Wild with doing all the shrines, collecting all the armor, collecting all the horse armor, completing the picture album, killing every one of the 3 types of world bosses, getting the master sword and hyrule shield, building up the town and buying everything for the house, and collecting all 900 Korok seeds.
And I felt that breath of the Wild was the worst zelda game, everything in there was just so lacking compared to the others, the 900 korok seeds especially. Xenoblade 2 is the better open world game out of the two by miles.
