I'm a habitual pirate and I have been since the late 90's, I must've 'stolen' over 500k worth of films, music and games.

I'm pretty sure everyone has done this and I find the amount of moralising from people who also do it but would never admit it amusing.

'A thief will always assume that others steal'...expect in reality I've not stolen anything...I've copied quite a lot of stuff, but that's not the same and everyone knows it.

The problem is I just don't care, they can't stop me and they can't punish me...so why should I?

Anyone betting how long it takes for this person to become Terry Davis II.
>Dark Souls II
If there ever was a community watch thread of the Soulsborne fans, DS2 fans would take it over, considering it turned into a cult classic with a fanbase of varying flavors of sped (Like that mod developer that schizoposts on twitter)
The fact the game mentioned was DS2 is very fitting.

Not true, asking for money upfront is new but floppys and discs were sold by people in the popular crack groups through mail to those that couldn't download it.
It‘s how Kim Schmitz („Dotcom“) first made money, by posing as a young female that was interested in sharing Floppys and then ratting them out to his lawyer friend (who later killer himself when he was supposed to go to prison for fraud, after literally ruining hundreds of lives for personal gain). Later, Schmitz learned that he can make more money by actually „selling“ warez via megaupload and his convoluted system of outsourced labor that uploads the stuff to his paysite so his hands are more or less clean.
Schmitz is a fucking parasite, but put millions of dollars into PR agencies to whitewash his image into that of a great activist for freedom. Shame the feds didn’t just shoot him dead at the raid.

I can't distribute that kind of software but I can tell you the process of modifying some particurally easy commercial software you legally purchased for personal debugging purposes and definitely not for circumventing copyright or anything like that. I'm gonna call this hypothetical tax preparation software Inuit TurdTax, for use by North American northern native peoples when preparing tax documentation on how much they poo.

1. Install TT and latest updates.
2. Download program for modifying DLLs called dnSpy.
3. Navigate to a folder called 32bit and open file named like Inuit.Ctg.Wte.Service.dll
4. In left pane click through like Inuit.Ctg.Wte.Service.Activation and then a class called ProductActivationService. Find method called IsProductActivationRequired and right click and select edit with C#.
5. in that function delete everything and replace with return false;
6. Compile and then use file>save module.

Btw this still works on TT 2022, but they slightly refactored the program so the activation check is moved to ProductConfigurationService.
Also I'm still digging in dnSpy through trying to find how to switch the product config to get Home&Business instead of Basic. Idk if that was differently packaged before.
Any Kiwis who are better at this kinda thing than I am (I never finished the CheatEngine tutorial lmao) can try it too.

I'm not familiar with the community but seems like they're fighting over pronouns or something

Best Windows Activator anyone got recommendations? Trying to activate my Windows Enterprise LTSC .

After I downloaded a version of KMS that included a trojan, I'm done with trying to activate things. Just buy the key for $9.99 and be done with it. You have to disable antivirus protection to even install KMS, since Windows will auto-delete the file otherwise as it views KMS itself as a virus.

That one trojan enabled them to take out a credit card in my name and to do some fucked up shit that resulted in my Google Ads account being banned.

Congrats, you’re absolutely retarded.

Giving some reddit NEET 10 bucks for a non-genuine license. Again very retarded. These (OEM) keys are not meant for sale and are just copied off from a Windows product key sticker from someone else‘s PC and/or from a volume / company license.
my Google Ads account
So you’re saying you’re retarded and evil?

You either are a boomer, German, retarded, or simply not using an adblocker; or - most likely - a retarded German boomer who doesn’t know how to use his computer or install an adblocker.

You have a lot of misplaced anger.

I don't care who's getting my $10. For that price, it's not even worth my time to look up how to pirate it properly. And it's not worth the risk when the cost is that low. Windows recognizes them as genuine, and it doesn't stop working in 6 months when KMS randomly decides to stop auto-updating or Windows improves its authentication.

There's nothing evil about having a Google Ads account. I have a product to sell and they advertise(d) it for me.

And I really don't see how an adblocker would protect against a trojan that's bundled in with a file the user downloads. Adblockers don't scan your downloads for viruses.

I'm still waiting for a crack for Tony Hawk 1+2, but the CrackWatch/Pirate scene fags would rather concentrate on indie games no one cares about, or patch releases of games they already cracked.
