Things are probably going to slow down in the cracking world since the CODEX release group retired earlier in the year. The people with the technical expertise who are are left (like EMPRESS) seem more interested in autistic culture war slap fights than releasing fast enough to plug that gap CODEX left.

Easy. You probably googled something like “WINDOWS KMS ACTIVATOR NAO” and clicked the first link which was an ad which lead you to some site like windowskmsactivationtotallylegit.com where you downloaded the activator. An adblocker would have saved you because that ad wouldn’t have shown up in your search results.

EMPRESS is so autistic that I really started liking her the more autistic and angry her NFOs got. Leechers (i.e. choosing beggars) are the worst kinds of people (except maybe reddit & private tracker jannies, big overlap tho) so every insult she fires at them is 100% justified.
Also: 500 bucks for weeks and weeks of enduring the torment that is reverse engineering is quite shitty pay if you ask me.

Interesting. I wasn't aware of this information. I've been more focused on working closely with some other groups for the purpose of obtaining server files for defunct MMORPG's, I never actually bothered looking into the cracking scene or if there was drama but I did recall hearing it's an ego festival of sorts. Definitely not something you should enter without being willing to pick fights it would appear.

I don't care who's getting my $10. For that price, it's not even worth my time to look up how to pirate it properly. And it's not worth the risk when the cost is that low.
