Yesterday was when I did those PS2 D.I.Y repair instructions on my own fat console only to notice that the laser disk was out of whack. I ended up taking apart the entire thing and now I have to get a new one.
The shocking part was that this was the first time that I saw the inside of a console like this in first hand value, and it was an eye-opener after all of those years.

Good lord this looks awful. Hearing what everyone has said here, I have no faith in this project and my only hope is that some form of talented dev team is going to produce a game to save this. Jaffe seems to think a new game is coming I guess?
The tone is absolute shit for this IP. TM is not devoid of humor, but jokes were typically just a punch line for the wish. This exudes Wheadon humor even if not shown, when the tone should have been either a series that embraces the silliness while maintaining a serious tone (think like a dark humored Brave & The Bold) to be in line with the early games, horror to fit Black, or the punk tone 2012 brought in.
As a final thought, I am calling it right now, Dollface will be part of the show and be reduced to every awful characteristic of modern Harley Quinn. She was already heading down that path in 2012, so I fully expect her to be Mackey’s girlboss guide to the apocalypse, protecting him from Sweet Tooth. Other than Calypso (who will probably just be a cameo), I cannot see any other game character but her making it.

That one still bothers me, since it was more deserving of a sequel than other franchises they have. There was room for improvement in all aspects, but it was a solid game nonetheless.
With Druckmann wanting to make sure you fight the smallest amount of zombies possible and don't have fun in your ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE GAME, and Guerilla Games making the Horizon setting as drab as a gay Pocahontas 3000 story can be, Days Gone 2 really would have been a good choice.

So this is based on Jann Mardenborughs story.
He won the GT5 Academy thing back in 2011. His literal only accomplishment is flying off the track in a GTR and killing a mom.
This movie is nothing but literal marketing for Sony and the GT franchise. The fanboys will piledrive this into the fucking ground with SEEE WE ARE THE BEST RACING GAME WE GOT A MOVIE SEE

No shit did he really fly off the track? This is why simulators can only do so much. Nothing beats hands on experience. Makes laughing at how seriously GT players take their totally realistic game all the better though a bit morbid.

The button placement sucked shit, this sideways format only works on arcade sticks. The ergonomics always felt wrong since i played mainly on SNES. I also didn't like the feel of the Start button, no matter how autistic that sounds.

Yup, it's laid out as though it's meant for your fingers, but it's not. It's just an arcade format slapped onto a controller. It'd make more sense if the buttons were laid out vertically
I wouldn't say that's autistic. It's a big rigid bar that doesn't press evenly, so it feels annoying.
God, that just screams straight-to-streaming schlock. Meanwhile in the land of Nintendo, The Super Mario Bros. Movie just broke a billion dollars. Something tells me Sony's shitty franchises aren't going to even break 1% of that.

I just saw the Mario movie earlier, it was pretty good. Sony's nigger trash won't even be as good as the old Mario film.

Game Arts still exists. They were the ones who did the Grandia Remasters back in 2019.Yup.. Games like LUNAR and LUNAR 2 would have benefited greatly if they ever got out on the system. Still worked out since we got PS1 versions of those legendary games!

People come out of Sims and race just fine. GT isn't a Sim tho, and thats the biggest joke here. GT is barely a simcade on a good day
That's one of GT7's biggest issues. It's attempting to play itself off as some sort of elite sim when it's not. And that marketing worked
