They're also not letting any third-party controllers on their platform to compete with their infinite money glitch. There's quite a few companies that make really good controllers for reasonable prices now while also including high quality parts. I swapped my Xbox controller on the PC with an 8bitdo ultimate controller and it's just as good if not better IMO while coming in cheaper with a charging dock, back buttons, extra function buttons, and hall effect sticks.
Sony also requires some sort of added software/approval to use racing wheels on PlayStation, hence why the PS-compatible ones are more expensive than the non-PS compatible ones, as a "Sony Tax". And that added Sony Tax stands out, because of how the most autistic of Gran Turismo players insist that you aren't really playing the game, if you're not using a DIRECT DRIVE racing wheel.
