Is the Sharty now in its equivalent era to post-2016 4cuck? The few months since the Frootcord leaks felt like 2007-2015 /b/ where there were still a few gems, but I've never seen the catty as boring as it is today. Also, all the Frootists' anti-splinter arguments mean nothing when threads like this are the most active ones on /soy/: https://soyjak.st/soy/thread/9380985.html
Is it really over for soy culture? It's sad to see it die like this, and it's even sadder knowing the next gem factory of a subculture won't come for a good while, if ever, and that we'll be too old for it when it does come.

Threads that bring topics for discussion usually get replies as those are for discussions. Shitposts often don’t get much replies as unless you design your shitpost in a way to start a conversation you won’t get any replies as there is nothing to discuss.
That’s probably one of the failures of an imageboard system when your designing a shitpost website. The only reason that type of system worked for the kway and soot to mid kuz era sharty was because those sites were dnbs compared to the modern sharty (though the site has been getting much less activity then usual as the main domain was down for TWO WEEKS, however I expect it to rise soon) so posts that didn’t offer much discussion (shitposts) would stay on top of the ‘log for a longer time.
Also I found the ‘log pretty decent today.

Soytan is coal, although it is sharty culture. Dr. House is a gem, although it isnt sharty culture.

When someone calls something "sharty culture" 8/10 its most likely either dogshit coal/dust/brimstone or SNCA coal/iron
