Everytime I see some nusoyjaks, they just keep getting worse and worse. The award ribbons were fine at first, but now they've been overused to the point of becoming brimstone, and all the distortion and 6 gorillion different images in a single soyjak looks astonishingly ugly. We need to bring back posting Classic Soyjak as a phenomenon.

I somewhat agree, but I do like blannies (black distorted troonjaks) sometimes.

It comes down to people wanting to feel like they're creating something novel rather than just itterating on someone else's work.
Early on this was easy when 'jaks and variants were few, if you had an idea for a 'jak edit there was a good chance you'd be the first. Now, if you have an idea for a 'jak edit theres a good chance its been done before, so people turn to making increasingly avant garde edits.
