If anybody watched the uncensored versions, what did the censored bombs say

So, for the first time, an extended parody of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer actually amused me, I mean it's not been overly parodied in the way A Christmas Carol or It's A Wonderful Life have been by numerous unimaginative lowest-hanging-fruit-targeting hacks over the years but still.

Chestnut's was blank.

Kind of weak. Was fine enough but didn't really get any strong impressioms out of me. it did start strong the instant I noticed Rudolph was Zack, but blowing a cameo from Zack on such a "serious" character felt like a waste. I also got excited when the misfits seemed like they were going to be a Red Corsairs of sorts, but guess not. Jokes that got a chukle out of me were "we are the real monsters", "I'll tell you for a nickle" and " I LOVE SPACE KING!".

As someone who does not know anything about Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, I really enjoyed this episode, a lot more than the last one.

I liked it. It is not as funny as the last three episodes, but the main crew dynamic is missing for most of the episode so I think the writing quality will bounce back next episode. Have to remember we're dealing with a independently funded web series on youtube that has the quality of a fully financed streaming series but they can say "retard" so I give them leeway as the quality of the episode blows me away each upload.

I really think it was a last minute decision to brand this one episode 4. The way tom and don were talking about it before release was that it was only a special. I guess they did not have confidence in a special getting as many views as episode 4. I think most people's opinion would improve if they changed the title to SPACE KING SPECIAL - Kingsmas, but that would not get as many views as episode 4 because most casual viewers are fair weather cattle.

I do wonder why flashgitz loves parodying rudolph so much.

Might buy the Chestnut Hoodie, I need a hoodie I don't use sometimes for work. Can anyone attest to the quality of the material?

I have the first Space King hoodie and fucking love it. Its really warm and comfy. Quality is really great. I'm going to go ahead and get the True Believer Bundle, I like all of the designs and I want the little psycho warrior for my mantlepiece.

Interesting! Before I go and actually educate myself on this show, I have to ask if it's from the team that did Ballmastrz9009 and Superjail? Because I see a few similarities in the short bit of time that I watched this. Either way, looks good and now I must watch it all.

Holiday specials are never good and I think that was part of the humor - making a holiday special for SPACEKING that is a parody of fucking Rudolph while trying to be original. I am going to venture a guess that the point of the special was the let the main characters air out a bit and to prevent using up all their jokes too fast while trying out writing for other characters and places.

7/10

I am so glad Rudolf realized the most important thing was to guide the slay team through the storm to purge the heretical misfits.

I wouldn't want every episode to be paced this way and I do think it should have been called a special instead of episode 4, but I enjoyed the change of pace as a one off.

There were some decent jokes and it being a parody of Rudolph was a good time.

The simulation was a great bit.

These are made by Flashgitz who originated on Newgrounds and have been posting on youtube for a decade. I dont believe they have ever broken into mainstream entertainment, the closest they came was a deal that fell through with Rooster Teeth. They are creating and funding this (through donations and ad revenue) themselves.
