Zach Hadel continues to be typecast.
Bros the second I heard that iconic nasal voice I started grinning like a kid on christmas
I don't understand the Internet's obsession with Zach Hadel. Do people really love
Smiling Friends,
OneyPlays, and/or psychicpebbles that much that they just now recognize Hadel's voice now?
Also, there is an animation error with the Globlus. Chestnut has it one scene when he shouldn’t.
There is also a sound error in the scene when Yukon uses Rudolph and Hermey as bait for the monster (12:53) where when Yukon pushed the duo off, there is literally no sound from Rudolph and Hermey being pushed or smacked in the ground. It just makes the push feel so weak and really disjointed from the scene.
I really think even though production of the episode was streamlined to be more efficient, this episode also felt rushed so it could be released on the 61st anniversary of the 1964 TV special film (December 6). I feel that once production is even more streamlined to take up less time to make an episode, we'll be seeing more errors. I do know Tom (who I heavily presumed is head writer) seems to be a perfectionist and gets really perturbed when the scene doesn't look nice or jokes don't land as they were supposed to, and he'll noticed it easily, and reinforce quality control with streamlined production.
but the main crew dynamic is missing for most of the episode so I think the writing quality will bounce back next episode.
Yea, I think this is the only missing thing. Seems like the only active character in this episode was Chestnut. Captain and Bryce had obvious roles in the first arc and was pushed aside heavily in the second arc. Hatemonger has no role in this episode at all. I know Tom and Don are insistent to start changing up the duos in future episodes, since they realized they overdid the Chestnut and Hatemonger duo. This episode was mainly touching the waters of a Bryce and Chestnut duo, despite being in such a limited state.
I think that is why it is more accurate to call this a
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer parody under the guise of a Space King episode than a Space King episode that gives homage to
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. Honestly, they should have removed the cast of Rudolph and have their roles be played by the Reclaimer Squad instead. I can see Chestnut playing Rudolph and Bryce being a more assholish version of Hermey.
Game reviewer and publisher
Mandalore played the first Misfit Psycho-Warrior on the Misfit planet that Rudolph's squad meets
I was wondering if Mandalore in the casting credits actually does refer to the game reviewer MandaloreGaming. Seems like he confirmed it itself.
