Nusois created a temporary server for SS13 (Archive) as they have a game night while awaiting for the janny 06eb to officially create the permanent SS13 server for the Sharty on this Sunday or the next Sunday.
They used Radmin VPN, so let this 'teen explain it at best.
Radmin is not a traditional VPN program, it simply lets one host to create a local network, akin to something you'd find at school or a workplace. It's Hamachi but without all the bullshiet of creating accounts.
Here's the instructions.
>download radmin vpn
>join network soystation12 by clicking join network and inserting its name as well as the password which is sprokeandmeds
>once you do that and installed byond and made and logged into an account, press open and put 26.236.111.119:4932 as the ip
>though
>install the VPN, join private obsessed, 'soystation12' name, sprokeandmeds >password, open BYOND, enter IP in, open game
Now whenever you would trust an completely random ass closed-source program like Radmin or not, it is simply up to you, if it is even possible to connect to the server without it.
For me personally? Try using any VPN that you can pay via Monero/Bitcoin, like Mullvad for example, which for an VPN on their own has been shown that it is actually excellent and had done me favors. So you would not be IP-snatched while connecting to such server for course.

The github repository linked in the image generates the image. It accepts new pull requests to add new servers. Only like 3 people who care actually do so.
But to answer your question,

ScavStation is a furry server, it's based on a furry comic called "OutOfPlacers".
Urist McStation is run by she/her troons.
MonkeStation is full of troons, though not run by one.
TGMC is full of troons, though not run by one.

ZeWaka is a very old Goonstation coder and the defacto representative of Goonstation. He is essentially the only Goonstation developer that operates outside of Goon itself, and is responsible for alot of the organization of the Spacestation 13 organization on Github. He's a libtard like all of the goons, but doesn't seem to personally care when people drop Retard or Faggot in Coderbus. I have seen people even make jokes about it, calling people retarded on his behalf and he will react to the message with "this tbh". Personally he seems to be less pozzed than the other Goons, he won't jump and call you a nawtsee for saying mean words, but he also goes to bars with SS13 troons like Willox, the creator of Auxtools.

I also argue that Shiptest should not be classified furry on the fact that they lack a dog and cat people species which in my opinion would be a requirement for this classification. This server should be ruled as gay and trannyland.

After they've severely watered the game down by removing everything controversial and fun, they're stuck just endlessly reworking the same old aspects of the game that survived the initial purge over and over and over and over again.
Just look at what happened to TG's artstyle to see what I mean after they removed a lot of old assets:
