Not much that involves community based internet stuff really makes the front page unless it’s like, Nintendo. The Reddit algorithm is all fucked up and manipulated and all the subs are so poisoned if you click on popular the only thing that shows up for me is animal stuff and AITA fake stories.

Horseshit. They're political agitators and human traffickers now, and nothing more. Their "lifesaving" goals, noble as they were, have long been backburnered in favor of "muh immigrants."

They're routinely present on those mysterious boats that loiter in those very waters they brag about "for no discernible reason" as "merchant" ships that never seem to carry cargo, make any cargo deliveries, or even carry an adequate crew for that purpose, and that are strangely well-prepared both for in-ocean personnel rescue (this is rare -- proper cargo vessels often cannot actually rescue more than one or two people from the water because go figure, they're built to maximize cargo space and not conduct water rescues) and well-stocked for an absurdly large "crew" that never seems to be present.

If they really cared about "muh lives" they'd be in Africa giving people fewer reasons to want to escape that hell hole.

I have nothing to add to the discussion except to say that I appreciate when events co stream on YouTube because adblockers actually still work there and I can have twitch chat open in a separate window if I really want a dose of brain damage.
 
i remember when it used to be an event now its not even good to put as background noise since hearing transqxeens makes me have chudrage. this summer they should try speedrunning the rope!
 
I always swing by for the Metroid run. It's a yearly tradition for me and my friends at this point.

AGDQ's detractors are just as predictable as the event itself. Which is to say, there'll always be alphabet folks there and there will always be terminally online anti-woke neckbeards complaining about them.

I find many brands of SJW/alphabet folk annoying but I don't make it my entire personality like some people here.

Nah, boats of military-aged savage invaders should simply be allowed to capsize without rescue. Fuck DWB. I don't know how they beat their "aiding and abetting illegal immigration" charges other than the fact that the entire system seems rigged to permanently enable it.
 
There was an especially bleak schedule this year but every time I tuned in it was chat spamming or a dono saying "trans rights" so I just stopped lol. The Miku boxing exhibition was horrendous.
I probably wont tune in again unless ZFG runs. Check out his 2025 rando, 2020 glitch showcase, or his Fast 52 all dungeons. He's a wholesome gem.

And it was stupid.

Imagine you are some actor in Hollywood, and you say that Ellen Page got you into acting, and then you get cancelled from everything because you were supposed to trick your mind into saying Elliot Page. Even though your memory of them is before they transitioned, and you don't even mean anything by it.

This is the sick world we live in now.
