Spider-Man: Far From Home

Probably going to skip this one. Wasn't really a fan of Homecoming: too millennial and obnoxious in parts for my tastes, and I'm just about ready to tap out on both Disney Marvel capeshit and highschool Parker.

I say good luck to them in making a good movie, but let me know when they're going to have adult Parker make his debut.

Do you think that they'll remove their cocks with CG just like WBs did with Henry Cavill's mustache in Justice League?

Only time they would need to do that is if we follow Flash "PENIS PENIS PENIS" Thompson visiting a gender-neutral bathroom.

Seems they might be shooting for a Sinister Six movie, already introduced Scorpion and Vulture now Mysterio. Could be interesting to see how they handle it in regards to the Avengers if they were to do it since they're not quite big enough to be an Avengers level threat but a little too much for Spider-Man to deal with by himself.

The Defenders team up with him for that, but only if you buy Disney's streaming service.

I finally watch Homecoming. It was okay. I did find the black MJ funny, but not in the way I think I was meant to. She was so sanctimonious she was practically a modern version of Mary from Pride and Prejudice. I mean she constantly spouted various PC/SJW shit in ways that showed her as a joyless person who was seen as weird by everybody else. All you would need to do is have her quoting Fordyce instead and bam! Instant copy. She interacted with Peter so little her entire character could've been cut and nothing would've changed.

She seems to have lightened up on it by the end and on the trailer for the new one.

Meh, I just feel turning Mary Jane into Black Daria was just dumb imo. In the comics she's a very fun and vivacious character, Sam Raimi never captured her essence well. And now the Rat has to go and make her woke. What is so hard for male writers to understand that Peter fell in love with this funny, beautiful model?

It wouldn't bother me so much if it wasn't for the fact that I like the character in the comics, and MCU fanboys are going on and on about how this is "the definitive" MJ. How can she be definitive when she has nothing in common with the original? Michelle's basically an OC at this point.

White redhead comics!MJ > Pretentious black MCU!MJ

MJ in the comics also had actual depth. Her party girl persona was a cover for her broken home life, like Peter she wore a mask. Michelle Jones is a fem douche covering up her douchiness by being a douche.

A few observations:

  • A small number of fucked-up, angry women now run (and are ruining) Western culture.
  • Identity politics weirdos can only enjoy something with identity politics bullshit in it while normal people can sometimes overlook those elements to just enjoy a story.
  • Female consumers are often threatened by funny, beautiful models; comics are (at least aspirationally) a global business now looking to sell to everyone, not just comic book neckheards.
  • Men in entertainment fields are increasingly worried about their careers being destroyed by the woke mob.
  • Redheads tend to be pale, and pale is "really white" in a sense. Gotta get rid of that whiteness and make it as black as possible. Take that, crackas!

I hope they address the fact that it would be pretty fucking obvious that a superhero who is clearly a teen operating out of New York, just so happens to show up in Europe (even if in a slightly different costume) exactly when Peter Parker's high school class just so happened to be going on a European class trip. (Incidentally, is this even a thing? We never had European class trips when I was in high school)

Out-of-country field trips are expensive as hell while Peter's school looks like your typical public school, so I would imagine that Tony provided funding (if he's alive by then, but if he dies by Endgame his company could still do it).

You addressed my secondary question, but ignored my more pressing question... If "Your friendly neighborhood Spiderman" just so happened to show up in Europe, (at a time where he is nowhere to be found in New York) While Peter Parker's high school class also happens to be in a class trip in Europe... People would totally figure out who he was.

I would assume that that would be one of the conflicts in the movie.

Didn’t Tony help Peter get into a really advanced MIT prep school or something? I feel like that was mentioned in the first one.
