It benefits both parties to have a product that people want to see any has proven itself to be both commercially and financially successfully. Sony films tend to be the latter but not the former and MCU films (for the most part) tend to be both. I'm a bit concerned about how Marvel's been treating its cast recently though with the whole ScarJo thing so who knows what Sony's thinking right now.
 
Can't believe they let Raimi consult on this film. How does he get away with it?

I'm sick of high school Peter and I'm sick of the Spider-Man multiverse so this doesn't exactly get my hopes up, but despite my general dislike of MCU Spider-Man, Far from Home was a decent movie and the multiverse being used for the Raimi movies at least allows Dafoe and Molina to return. I'm mildly interested, I guess.

A lot of people are saying that Doc Ock is talking to Raimi Peter. He wouldn't know who MCU Peter is so everyone is saying this is the proof that Tobey will be in the movie.

Counterpoint: the trailer is all edited to hell and those moments could be minutes apart in the actual movie so trying to read into that is pointless.

Weren't there leaked pics of the other Spidermen on set? Or had those been debunked?

Reddit leaks said both Andrew and Tobey are definitely coming back, the latter acting as some sort of midway point reveal. They also said Rhino and Lizard from Amazing Spiderman were in it as other members of the Sinister Six.

Of course it's Reddit, so take all of this with a grain of salt.

Well, there’s hints of Doc Oct, Goblin, Sandman and Electo in the trailer, so it makes silence to hold back more reveals for future trailers.
 
The Disney Sony deal for this movie is, Disney puts up 25% of the budget and gets 25% of the profits. Disney wanted a 50/50 deal, which is what Sony walked away from.

My guess is, Sony may keep Spiderman in the MCU if they can get the same deal with Disney again, but will move forward with a Spider-Man 4 with Tobey Maguire if this movie is a hit. Would make sense, to make a final one, they can milk the last bit of love out of the Sam Rami movies. With the multiverse being set up, not stepping on the toes of MCU Spiderman and they can see how a Spiderman movie would now do without the MCU links, so let's say for a Tom Holland Spiderman 5 which move away from the MCU allowing Sony to get the full 100% of the profits.

5 Kiwi Koins say that this movie will be infinitely better if you skip that first 3rd which will be mainly nigger Jane and Tom whining.
