Star-Lord was more of a merc in the early 2000s when he appeared in the Annihilation events. He eventually and slowly turned into a more rogueish guy.
Jennifer Hale is a great actress; and I know a paycheck is a paycheck and all, but she is much better than this.
You lads weren't even around for City of Heroes causing Marvel to get so assblasted they sued Cryptic because they MIGHT use the excellent and unrivaled character creator in City of Heroes to make Marvel characters. Case got "settled" and Cryptic began work on a Marvel MMO that later under the loosest definition of the word "evolved" to become Champions Online.
I remember how big the marketing for that was back in the day. Kinda wish I got to try it out.
A lot of private servers still exist. Just sweet talk the right person and you'll get let in.
Just go play CoH: Homecoming. They are pretty good about adding things to the game that were in work on Live and even added new things like the Sentinel Archetype. The Sentinel is Primary Blast power secondary defenses, granted the Blast powers are shorter range and less damage than the Blaster AT. Currently in beta they are working on Seismic Blast and it feels really fun. The final power in that is a Meteor. They are also making changes to Stone Armor by adding things like +Recharge, +Recovery and a Dot to the other armors. They are also letting scrappers get Stone Armor and Stone melee.

What are the other servers, interested if they fixed the Trollers/Doms/MM's issues for late game.
Thunderspy has the best new content. Especially in the character creator. The ability to completely customise Mastermind pets is really cool. And they've balanced a lot of the classes. But it has the least people of all servers. Try on a friday at 6pm EST and you'll find cool people. You have to interact on their discord though which is shit. Around 100 to 200 people on the weekends. There's also Rebirth. Which has much more people at all times and some new content but is mostly vanilla. We Have Cake has custom archetypes similar to Champions so you can mix and match powers. But the lead guy is a massive schizo.
So what did Thunderspy do to fix the problem ATs? Like Doms/Controllers are unnecessary at the end game because the DPS/Support is so strong the control portion is not needed. And well the Pet customization is nice, it still doesn't prevent the pets from going splat without some significant changes to the MM class besides Mercs due to well them needing a Massive overhaul.
