I know you're probably just shitposting, but I see this sentiment genuinely expressed a lot.

Why does ripping jokes from a forum trigger spazzes so much? 99% of comedy is delivery. How does stealing a story detract from the comedy in any way?

If his reviews consisted of just shitposts being ripped off wholesale from 4chan I might agree with people being perturbed (the extent of the anger is weird tho), but his reviews are more than just that. He has a good voice, a very distinctive and entertaining editing style, almost always plays these games for hundreds of hours and basically tries to break their balance entirely, and then he typically shows an entertaining story or two he was able to enjoy inside the game on top of the more typical review fodder. He'd be making good reviews even if he heavily toned down the 4chan stuff.

The thing you need to actually understand is Sseth is actually funny. His N word story in SS13 for instance I show to friends and it always makes them laugh because of the explosive punchline.

He doesn't though. Maybe for some games but for all the ones I've played before watching his review it's obvious he's just regurgitating the 4chan and reddit memes about the game. For the totally unknown games maybe, but for stuff like rimworld and kenshi his script was mainly regurgitating memes and didn't really represent the gameplay at all. He couldn't even be bothered to get his own footage for the DF review.

His videos are lazy as fuck.

To answer the question about why people get so mad about sseth:
The videos themselves are just shit, but his fanbase's constant shilling of his shit videos and throwing a fit whenever they get told off is what makes people hate him so much. See the last two posts for proof of what I'm talking about.
