To add a little more detail, he was being kinda a feminist ally with some of his stuff and then he got me too'd for jerking off in front of two women acquaintances. He asked them if he could first, and they just laughed cause they thought it was a joke, which he took as consent, and then he actually did it.

During his brief rebound he was actually leaning a bit in the other direction, into the anti-PC thing.

Yeah, it's such a stereotypical example of someone trying to cover their tracks you can easily imagine Patton is a fictional character and Columbo or Phoenix Wright or whoever is grilling him.
