Goes more to show Janeway being petty IMO, especially when for all intents and purposes, a Lieutenant is an Ensign anyways.

Janeway in particular was a horrifically inconsistent captain. That's why I say she's probably the worst captain out of the *good* Trek shows. Sure, Archer was batshit insane, but you could generally predict how he was going to act... (Unless you're the Valakians, because fuck those guys XD)

But yeah, in one episode Janeway might be preaching about how bad of an idea it would be to ally with random alien of the week, because they might be evil... and a few episodes later she might be pushing full support for an alliance with the Borg... Even though they are definitely evil.

As a big Lexx fan (which I firmly believe is immune to being 'updated for modern audiences') Stanley was a regular customer at space brothels. But then he was also raped by Feppo and Smoor, a perfectly justified reason for him to hate troons and fags. He also got that gender-swapping virus and he got raped as a woman... Okay, he's probably more pathetic as a result, but I think he was a deeper character.

Maybe starfleet rules doesn't allow for temporal clones to rank up. Both He an Naomi don't belong in this universe. The original Harry died in Season 2. We have had a fake harry replacement ever since.

Stanley gets raped or almost raped several times in the series, but he never seems to learn a lesson from it since he is himself a constant threat to Xev; maybe all the times he gets his ass pounded has made him determined to prove to the world that he is not a homo.

I doubt anyone would say Xev2, as she is a very artificial looking woman. However, her cheap porn actress look fits with the aesthetic and general sleazy vibe of the show.
 
All Tilly jokes aside, her existence will always be their biggest retardation. It's impossible to be fat in the time of Star Trek. Not only the food won't let you do that, but they all are in their physical peak and doctors would cure you in a second because obesity is bad for you. It's only a thing when you're older because your body works different, but the active Starfleet officers have no excuse. They could have cast someone who's thick, with a natural big body, not fat.

It really boggles the mind how she managed to triple in size, presumably eating the exact same regulation food as the rest of the crew. Unless she was eating like three times more of it than anybody else, which is not a quality I would want in a starfleet officer.

Scotty didn't get fat until he was middle aged. It's not the same thing as a woman who is in her 20's/30's deciding to get a career change as the Goodyear blimp. Also it wasn't pushed as a positive when Scotty got fat. With Tilly, it's the "healthy at any size" bullshit, what do you mean it doesn't make sense for her to WIN a marathon?
