Out of curiosity, I glanced at the post mortem thread on TrekBBS. Most of the Treksick fans who watched it didn't really like it. One person admitted he stood up for the show in the beginning because most of its detractors were (according to him) bigots. I read that and, well, I'm sorry. I had to.

"BIGOTS could be here" he thought, "I've never been in this sector before. There could be BIGOTS anywhere." The cool wind felt good against his bare chest. "I HATE BIGOTS" he thought. Faith of the Heart reverberated his entire shuttle, making it pulsate even as the synthehol circulated through his powerful thick veins and washed away his (merited) fear of prejudice on the internet. "With a spore drive, you can go anywhere you want" he said to himself, out loud.

Sorry guys. I've been super busy with life and my girlfriend moved in recently so my stoned recaps of DS9 have been on hold. I will pick back up with Season 2 soon.

For now though I was scrolling through my notes app where I kept my DS9 thoughts and found this gem:

Modern Day TNG episode

Troi gets recruited by Ferengi to start an Only Fans . They say "IT WILL ONLY BE SOLD TO THE GAMMA QUADRANT". The inevitable happens, and Data has to delete all Troi footage from the net with his positronic brain and the episode ends...except for plot twist Data becomes a coomer

That would have been a hilarious addition to some set during the Discovery episodes set in the Mirror Universe. Maybe have them visit a Museum of Failures, put Porthos on a pedestal with a plaque reading "Failed Coup Leader's Dog, executed 22nd c."

Here are a few of the better ones I came up with.

Tilly so fat, she got lost in the Delta quadrant and the Gamma quadrant at the same time.

That said I wouldn't be too surprised to see some autistic pooner waving that around in public and get herself ventilated by cops. Or to find out a pooner mass shooter had one of those strapped to her back as a backup weapon for when the ammo ran out

Just imagine the last thing you see being some bearded pooner running at you swinging that thing at your head screaming about how you're a transphobe

Also thats a fucking gowron quote they're using ffs. Ironically from an episode where a changeling was impersonating martok. Read into that as you will, but the context and lack of self awareness there is rather....interesting
