I doubt that it's physically possible for the Lagrange point to exist near her girth.
It's something Voyager could have explored more:
When you're somewhere in the Alpha quadrant doing regular starfleet shit and one of the crew starts going bonkers, you can just cycle him out of service until he gets his shit back under control at some space resort with counselors helping him... but in Voyager's case, every single crewman is irreplacable and the more specific and difficult to attain their skillset, the bigger the pressure to continue to function at all costs for these people.
Basically, Voyager could have gone for a long-reaching storyarc in the background, where several crewmen are slowly reaching their breaking point and how the crew has to deal with that. Imagine being in Torres' shoes, you're the only high-profile engineer of your abilities, your ship is constantly being harassed by some rubber-face alien weirdos and sparkly space-anomaly stuff and you can never really take a break and if you stop doing your work, your ship and its crew are doomed.
