Starbound Thread

I wouldn't mind paying for it but we would need to see how many people would actually play. The servers don't cost too much, they go for 12.55 for 10 people and 37 for 30 people. However I doubt we might have more than 15 players a time if anything.

I like this idea a great deal. @Gaol I'd be willing to go halfers on server rental.

I also have one copy left that needs a good home- PM if you fancy it. free to any good kiwi :P

I'm kinda interested but I don't know if my computer can run it...
 
I'd say we should use mumble while we play together, but what if we all don't fit in one channel? Perhaps there should be a gaming channel without a cap?

I played Starbound quite a bit before and after the last update they made for it. I was a bit mixed on the changes they made to the bosses and to the asteroid fields. Before, it was Dreadwing, Fatal Circuit, and a skeletal dragon along with a giant slime. After the update, they kept Dreadwing, revamped the robot to being more of a penguin and scrapped the dragon but they did make one of the bosses a bit more of a sort of puzzle (it's just flipping switches and avoiding the attacks). Honestly didn't mind the changes they made to the bosses though I would like to try and fight the old bosses they had. The asteroid fields used to be gold mines for various ores and fuel sources (highest level ones were chock full of diamond and solarium) but now they are empty rocks that can be ideal to make for bases. Also, if you wish to upgrade your ship, keep any plutonium you find. It's necessary for one of the upgrades and it is hard to find that thing on moons.

I have this game, haven't played it for a while though. A Kiwi server would be a good excuse to get me back into it!
 
I play lots of Starbound and enjoy the ever-living fuck out of it. A

I've never played with anyone before and haven't played too much of it, but I'll be happy to give it a go with some Kiwi people if that's alright. I'm still a bit new-ish to the game, but it's pretty swell.

Null has a poll on the kiwi server thread that you should all vote on.

Sever was up and I was playing with Null.

Also Obamatron jumped into the server and wrote "PITBALL" at the spawn, a bit too soon there Obeme.

My personal highlight was when I #TYCED Null and got him to fall off the Outpost. :ween:
