Starfield - Bethesda's new space IP: will probably be full of fun and easily trackable bugs

How do you think Starfield will turn out?

I do care about misleading market actually, one because it is part of my job suing companies that do it, second because gaming companies that do this shit are one of the reasons gaming is in a downward spiral and I care about my hobby.

It is clearly that Bethesda tried to sell their game as being above and beyond what their game is capable off because Microsoft needs a savior. If this is bad enough, who knows perhaps I got my next lawsuit ready.

I do not have a hate boner for Bethesda either, I dislike any company that lies about their games like Bethesda does, they started doing this a bit with Skyrim but really became their M.O with Fallout 4... "It just works"
No, the downfall of gaming isn’t because people lie, if it was the gaming industry would’ve been dead in the 80s lol. The actual issues with gaming go to a lot of things, many having to do with over monetization of every single game, over saturation of trends such as battle royales etc., the fact that gaming companies go out of their way to make sure you don’t own a single part of your games anymore. Then there is the pandering to Chinese mobile markets and turning even triple A titles into glorified mobile games. Im sorry but Beth. as shitty as they are aren’t even in the top ten companies that are destroying the industry right now. Unless your combining them with Microsoft which I guess but still, as shit as their games are I have no idea how a shitty open world game is doing more damage than any of the yearly Call of Duties.

lol. lmao even.

Wait so...The game has 'more freedom' if you cant fly from ground to space because you might accidentally fly into space when you only meant to fly around the ground?

wut.
Pete Hines is a retard, and honestly going by what I’ve seen just today, his been where a lot of the “sweet lies” have come from.

Edit: Man that crack was fast lol. I assume it was easier because BGS using basically the same tools as every game they make?

A Starfield code came with my new cpu and I don't think I'm even gonna bother playing. Do you have to have the special mega skateboard tempur pedic edition to play now instead of in a new days?
I just had a stroke reading that can you repeat it

I think they are asking if the code from the cpu they bought is playable now, like it’s considered the premium version. Or does he have to upgrade…. I think is what they are saying lol.

I especially said misleading market was *one* of the many causes of the decline of gaming experience, not the only one.

Yes, I am considering Bethesda as part of Microsoft, yeah, also don't forget Beth is not above releasing shit live service games like Fallout 76 showed. Yearly Call of duty is relatively harmless despite predatory monetization since it is essentially fulfilling the niche of first person shooter alone since Dice is burning and Medal of Honor died an inglorious death. You can see this by seeing how in 2022 COD was the only FPS to be on the list of the top 25 best selling games.
FPS are hardly as popular as they once were, they are not trend setters anymore.

Pete was trying his best to bullshit his way out of answering the question. Almost commendable

It wouldn’t let me quote your recent post but yea man I understand and I think we’re in agreement for the most part. Like I said I really don’t care that much about this stuff, especially not anymore lol. But you keep fighting the good fight, just don’t be a fag lol.

If you're gonna have a stroke, do it in one of these

I’d give that a try, is it like a chair or like a whole bed. Because my fucking bed sucks and at this point I’d take anything lol.

Did they really put product placement in that game
It was a special model made for a gaming convention. Think it was more of a marketing stunt rather then Tempur-Pedic paying for product placement.

From an article on it:
This one-of-a-kind Tempur x Starfield Dream Chair made its debut at Gamescom 2023 today, inspired by the ‘NASA punk’ aesthetic found in the game. To achieve full immersion, there are joysticks on each arm rest, allowing gamers to find the most comfortable seating position before experiencing an exclusive in-game flight through Starfield.
The Dream Chair uses the same material found in Tempur-Pedic beds, viscoelastic foam, which is incredibly supportive, thanks to its open cellular structure that precisely adapts to your weight, shape, as wellas temperature. Unfortunately, it is not going into production, so the only way to experience Dream Chair is to visit Gamescom 2023 (Aug 23-27) in Cologne, Germany. However, it will also make its way to XPERION Köln before being shipped off to the Tempur store at Westfield, Stratford in October.
