If you need to watch 8 hours of this slop to realize that Saarfield is a pile of irredeemably execrable garbage, then I don't know what to tell you.

Starfield...more like LoadingScreenField

The Artifacts are the central MacGuffin in the Plot. Couldn't they come up with a better way to find them then just literally digging them up over and over again? This is like taking one of those collect x riddler trophy type minigames they use to pad out games and turning it into the main quest.

Bethesda still hasn't learned its lesson in building up relationships believably. You're still inexplicably instantly best buds and made king or top operative of factions after barely getting to know them.

The characters are aggressively uninteresting even for a bethesda game. This is nowhere summed up better from what I've seen than Neon. Which is one of the saddest attempts at the trope risque city I've seen in fiction. I've seen better attempts at 'cool and edgy' from fuddy duddy boomers writing psas for kids. It almost seems like it was written as a joke about what a city of nerds trying to at cool would look like.

That's the thing, I don't even know that YouTuber or his content. So I'm not sure if he does scare me
 
That game is very forgettable and I amuse that people think they be some great mod scene to add life to it. It won't come at all, after combination of Nexus and Bethesda behavour. Nexus not allowing modders to delete work so they can do those collections and the culture war elements pissed off the Skyrim modding community. Anyone left who still really passionate not going touch the game with Bethesda keep trying to force paid modding like they just released this week with a new update for Skyrim. Which broke everyone mods again to add a mod shop back to Skyrim.

I will watch because Patrician was meticulously documenting the lies and distortions in the marketing leading up the release date. He basically dissuaded me from rushing out and buying the game game day one. I feel like watching this will complete my Starfield Journey without ever needing to touch the game.

im not even joking either, he’s been targeted by acerthorn, who did gay ops to try to nuke his streams. hes also been cried about a lot by the likes of neverknowsbest and saltfactory. they hate him, because how dare he review their big brain reviews when considering his own big brain essay? he might be the reason willlovesgames quit.

turns out people don't like their “essays” discussed or analyzed, despite the fact that they're willing to push their ideas onto everyone else, while being happy to be treated as pseudo-academic authorities on games when it comes to praising their essasys.

basically he accidentally causes drama because of his "workstreams" that lead up to his reviews releasing.

I think you're overstating his influence. The thing with Acerthorn is one of many he did; the rageturkey has a thread here. Willlovesgames had a schizophrenic attitude towards his channel long before Patrician put out his first video.

The only thing he casts a long shadow on is the arms race to make analysis videos as long as possible.

As someone who was like "Mods could make this game more fun" I'm officially in the "It won't happen" camp after the latest Skyrim update.

I'm seeing way to many people that are sick of Bethesda constantly getting in the way of the mod scene on PC to think any of them will want to work on Starfield in a meaningful way at this point. Starfield would have to be fixed by Bethesda themselves before a proper mod scene could grow out of it at this point. They apparently fixed Fallout 76, so anything is possible, but I'm not holding my breath when Microsoft probably wants an Elder Scrolls VI out ASAP.

That, and Todd looks completely checked out every time I see him now. He looked absolutely lifeless behind the eyes at TGAs last night. I think he wants to get through his current commitments and just retire with his Microsoft money like Pete.

Acerthorn tried to get the channel shut down midstream.
Will was always a puss, true, but he quit when he saw Pat's workstreams. It not proof he quit because of Pat, but it's curious.

These are facts, I'm not overstating anything.
It's what happened.

lol, "Mods will fix it!" Yeah, only if people actually want to play the game. By the time the creation kit for Starfield is released next year no one will be playing it. I've noticed FudgeMuppet and other Bethesda lore channels have stopped making Starfield videos which is telling because they'll do videos about the different grasses of Tamriel and get almost 100k views but can't get more than 50k views on their Starfield videos now.
