Is it worth pirating yet?
No and it will probably never be worth pirating. I checked the mods being made for it so far and theres not even that many mods, seems most people have enough sense to let the game die. Only half interesting mod I did see was a star wars conversion mod, but the gameplay is more or less the same with it. Probably best to find a better space game depending on what your looking for.

I reread a good portion of this thread and looking back it's quite sad. Not a whole lot of us had high expectations but we didn't comprehend the depths of slop this game would be.

I would hope the backlash against this game would be a kick in the pants for Bethesda but I already know it won't. If Fallout 76 wasn't enough to stop them from doubling down I doubt Starfield will. RIP Elder Scrolls 6.

saars, good morning saars.
saars, do the needful and redeem the 191GB space game by todd howard, saars.

alright, time to go to basedmods.
i really wanted to do a no-mod first run buuuuuuuut this gay shit is too much for me, i already had to see a weird skinpatch sheboon grilling a white karen when i got to the fucking city and my fatigue meter went to 90% because i knew if i had shot that negress she would probably be essential, thus unkillable.

The (always negative) impact of jeets on game development needs to be studied.

I hope the success of Starfield has encouraged Bethesda to hire on even more Indians, so they can sexually harass the dangerhair writers and get nothing else done, hopefully killing Bethesda as a company for good.

It encouraged them to hire some Bioware dipshit who rode the coattails of their late '00s successes for a decade and a half, which is basically jeet behavior.

in the meantime, some rare good news is here for the overall health of the well-written RPG-loving world: John Dombrow, who helmed much of what we loved not just in the Mass Effect series, but even in Dragon Age: The Veilguard, has made a highly intriguing leap to Bethesda Game Studios.

John Dombrow got his start at BioWare with Mass Effect 2's excellent "Overlord" DLC. While "Lair of the Shadow Broker" is almost certainly the most popular of ME2's post-launch packages, I've always preferred the more 'hard-hitting sci-fi' vibes of the former.

Dombrow wrote "all characters within those missions (i.e. Wrex, Wreav, female krogan, turian primarch, portions of Illusive Man, etc.) with assistance from another writer on the character of Mordin". I pulled that quote from the former BioWare scribe's LinkedIn page, where you'll also note that he was a co-lead writer on Mass Effect: Andromeda, a senior narrative designer for Anthem, and a senior narrative designer again on Dragon Age: The Veilguard - the best parts of it, mind you, including Davlin's arc and the high-water mark that is the Siege of Weisshaupt.

Man, if Bethesda is hiring actual (I use that word very loosely) writers to design their quests instead of just handing their quest designing programmers and their artists writing responsibilities, then the old Bethesda is truly dead.

Bethesda is part of Microsot, hiring jeets or outsourcing to them is mandatory.

I remember wanting to do that too on my first playthrough but no, you need mods, especially the one that changes the UI into something that is acutally usable (StarUI).

i already played deus ex human revolution so i don't have much issues with the UI being console trash, if anything shit like skyUI and starUI are more confusing once you get used to the simplistic UI tardation of godd howard.

also saar, redeem the doctor, saar.

Not even furfags or coomers seem interested, only Star Wars people. I was thinking I could maybe make it a weird Star Fox game but you know the shit is dead when not even autistic people who jack off too much can be fucked to mod the game.
I knew this shit was dead when 2 weeks in there wasn't a halfway decent nude mod and no mods to make the spaceships or the weapons worth a shit.

There isn't a CBBE port nor is there a UNP port so you know this game is dead. I checked the mods on Nexus a few days ago after not looking at it for a year and there's nothing. No followers, no quest mods, nothing interesting.

so far the game has partial bodyslide support and caliente has called it quits from modding, something something about not wanting to touch CE2.
although most of the creation club mods can be found on cs.rin, even some deleted ones.

You know shit's fucked when even Caliente's fondness for big butts (and he cannot lie) is absolutely crippled by how shittastic the game itself is.

She called it quits?

Aw, man. That sucks. 20 years of her autistic attention to detail.

Not a nude mod but someone made a mod to make the female space suits look more feminine instead of androgynous. I know it's not Caliente level but it can make a difference, lol

Nexus has been taken over by trannies and tranny enthusiasts, so expect more BLACKED shit.

Starfield has a weird puritanical element to it, coupled with a repulsive art style and modern ESG sensibilities. Everyone is a gross human with horrific fashion straight out of an LA back-alley. You can't strip people down to their underwear anymore. There isnt even really any gore or violence.

The two waifu companions are a 50 year old Karen and a 45 year old vaguely European Russian lady with unwashed hair.

There's no alien races like the Asari to add some of that Xenofucker Star Trek appeal, and the Nasapunk art design means everyone runs around in frumpy, dumpy fat space suits rather than cool armor or skintight bodysuits.

It is probably one of the most unappealing sci-fi settings I have ever seen. Unlike Skyrim or Fallout where you can tweak some shit, you'd have to basically redesign everything in Starfield to make it Coomer friendly.
