Given the many, many reasons stated in this thread alone on why this game is shit, I'm sure it won't take long to "pinpoint."Starfield just doesn't hit the way it's likely intended to and I can't really pinpoint why

What even is the point of the Unity? Every time you complete the cycle, you lose everything including the Starborn space suit. There's absolutely no reason to do endless NG+, do it once for the achievement and that's it.Here is the OP.

Since I first read it, there are more people that are positive about the changes. Then there is this guy who's just stating the facts and upsetting lorebeards

I haven't really paid attention since release, but I think a big thing that brought certain autists into Starfield "lore" was exactly how bare bones it was so it left a ton of room open for head canon. One would think Starfield would be the last game to spark any amount of passion like that.
Starfield lore feels like the kind of shit you’d see in a sci-fi short story from the 60’s.One would think Starfield to be the last game to spark any amount of passion like that.
Todd must have come up with that one after a few too many bong rips,Replaying Starfield after dropping it a few months after launch because of all of the issues piling up by hour 50. Free Lanes I feel like should've been in the game from the start considering how much you use your ship to travel around instead of the linear paths you had to take.
I still don't like that were the dragonborn IN SPACE!!!!
That was one of my biggest autistic gripes about fallout 4 too. I hated the procedurally generated Borderlands gear that replaced the cool, unique ones from 3 and New Vegas. There was also a LOT less weapon and armor variety. And of course this carried over into Starfield too, only this time now the melee weapons can’t be upgraded.I can't wait for them to port it into TES6 where it makes zero fucking sense. We already have equipment tiers, its called equipment materials.
If TES6 doesn't replace unique equipment with "legendary" equipment that look exactly the same as the default items I'll eat my hat.
The Saarborn shit was apparently conceived of and written by Emilio which makes sense since he's one of the worst writers currently living.“Bro… like, dude….. What if we make the player character in Starfield a SPACE DRAGONBORN?” - Todd, probably.
/v/ used to meme that Bethesda would rehash Skyrim in their future games even before Fallout 4 came out and slowly but surely it came true. The Scorchbeasts in Fallout 76 were literally reskinned Skyrim dragons iirc. The Saarborn shit was apparently conceived of and written by Emilio which makes sense since he's one of the worst writers currently living.
Yea I heard the Prydwin reused the Dragon Flying script from Skyrim too./v/ used to meme that Bethesda would rehash Skyrim in their future games even before Fallout 4 came out and slowly but surely it came true. The Scorchbeasts in Fallout 76 were literally reskinned Skyrim dragons iirc.
The Prydwin or the vertibirds?Yea I heard the Prydwin reused the Dragon Flying script from Skyrim too.
Yea I remember that. The sole survivor was supposed to be called the Radborn or some shit.Funnily enough, iirc, they did want to reuse the dragonborn shit for Fallout 4, but instead of dragon magic or space magic you'd instead get radiation magic.
emil forgot about thatI remember like 3-6 months in, the biggest discussions among them was trying to just figure out how the fuck the society "worked".
It makes sense to establish colonies in several systems, it guaranties the survival of humanity. That said, doing this doesn't explain the sudden change in the cultures, how every Earth religions disappeared (except one). And explain the logic behind trying to colonize multiple systems instead of just one or two main planets. Or even trying to do research on the furthest planets instead of staying close to home.
Nah, the Prydwen is a mobile-to-static object. Nothing special.Yea I heard the Prydwin reused the Dragon Flying script from Skyrim too.
The Virgin Sober Emil vs. the Chad Acid Tripping Kirkbride. The Saarborn shit was apparently conceived of and written by Emilio which makes sense since he's one of the worst writers currently living.
The legendary weapon effects used the same code as Skyrim enchantments as well. Their creative bankruptcy started after Fallout 4 and only spiraled from there. That was even before Microslop bought the studio.Yea I heard the Prydwin reused the Dragon Flying script from Skyrim too.
The Vaultborn must fight the evil mutant Raduin with nukes to stop the end of the world from occurring (again)!Yea I remember that. The sole survivor was supposed to be called the Radborn or some shit.
I guess Psykers are canon within Fallout's lore though.
