It's a gauge mode with an entirely new skillset based on Tachy's boss fight. Because it changes EVE's moveset, it disables Beta and Burst skills. Overall, it's clutch when you accidentially get ganked because of it's AoE skills and Counter

As a character, she has LITERALLY no character. Dies in the beginning, comes back as a one-off Alpha Naytiba, ends up as a moveset. Overall, wasted potential tbh. Assuming she'll be featured more in any hypothetical DLC

Welp, after this review was shilled on /v/, the thread got derailed to hell and back by both marketers, trannies and shitposters. The thread in question.
The funny thing is, the majority of the thread wasn't even discussing the video or SB itself, but vidya mechanics the reviewer's brought up in his vids about action games and SHMUPS. It wasn't until a few people brought up the markering of the game is when the marketers went into damage control and the thread started to get astroturfed by all sides.
I have a feeling there was some preemptive threadsitting before then.

Is the PAWGsuit ever going to happen? The conversation dwindled but I think pointing fingers out "who did what?" Is irrelevant since both companies have proven to be censorious faggots. Shiftup revelease pre-release risque footage to attract a wider audience then censors to lower the age rating for an even wider audience and Sony is just censorious all around. Both have a common goal in mind, just different methods. Beauty being a widely accepted standard, should come back but also, I think it's equally important to not absolve ShiftUp for willingly censoring their game. ShiftUp should be encouraged to do more good things but it should also be remembered Stellar Blade isn't the first game they've "toned" down.

Game's not bad but parts certainly feel slapped together or rushed. The whole RE sequence in a lab was neat but picked the most boring way to do survival horror (oh boy, more over-the-shoulder gunplay). The fast travel requiring multiple steps and some areas having no maps is fucking baffling. The more linear areas don't need them as badly but going back to those to fulfill sidequests is a headache sometimes.

I just wish they weren't so piss easy. I had more difficulty with the platforming than the combat. Also, hard agree with the fast travel

What's your opinion on the Stellar Blade censorship and the Helldivers 2 forced login situation? What makes them the same and what makes them different where gamers got cucked in one (SB) and got the W in the other (HD2)?

Saw a take recently (might have been a video posted in this thread, if so, sorry for the redundancy) complaining that the demo shows the best of the game, and that the final version has a lot of padding in the form of huge areas with nothing in them you have to run through over and over again. How true is that?

There are a few things different, not least of which is motivation.

HD2 was purely a technical and greed related one. I see conflicting things on if PSN was always going to be required or not. I'm going to say it wasn't for the argument here. It also makes the most sense. They wanted more people in their PSN system so they could sell them PS+, and saw the popularity of HD2 as a way to do that. Not only were the negative reviews a problem, but the immediate threat of legal action led to them backpedalling immediately.

However, SB was ideologically driven. Again, we can argue if they're true believers or just after ESG money. Unlike HD2, the bait and switch with SB is much harder to prove. And more over, it's a change they feel strongly about. They have much more reason to resist it.

Ultimately, HD2 was a bigger risk for less gain.

HD2 is a different debate seen an article that's only a day old there was a reason for it and Judge Dredd touched upon it already.

Sony finally realizes they are the only one without a PC presence with the exception of Nintendo but Nintendo has such an ardent fan base they don't need a presence on PC. Sony on the other hand has no PC presence and doesn't have a huge kid fan base like Nintendo does. They unintentionally pigeonholed themselves and need to do something.

Jewsh is mostly correct to simplify it. The bigger the company is, the bigger money gets, and the bigger the pushback needs to be to enact change. Hence why it's commonly said "money talks, bullshit walks." For the most part, yes you gotta hit a company's wallet to enact change and the easiest but most expensive way is litigation. Protest has the same end goal but is a different method. It is why everyone says "vote with your wallet" in theory, this works; But is very hard to achieve because most don't follow through. If they are even aware anything is going on at all.

Yeah. I'd add that the issue there is less pressing than the sb controversy. Bagging on the coomer filth aside, heterosexuality being neutered in culture is a huge problem. Imagine growing up in today. Modern western heterosexuality in culture is about as underwhelming as it gets.

And what's more, no one is interested in "fixing" it. I put that in quotes because I'd argue sexuality shouldn't really be a culture.

As seen earlier on the thread, the left is puritanical, but so is the right, and most of those in the middle have been browbeat into not defending their position. Any time the so called "debate" comes up, there are three arguments. "Pedo", "coomer/degenerate/gooner", and "just watch porn". The tactic is as simple as it is dumb, to force people to abandon their position, or defend the indefensible. It's a Kafka trap, but with video game titties.
