Resetera is saying the game developer has a ton of controversy, specifically in how they treat their female employees? If true, that sucks, but the gaming industry is always gonna be male dominated. Deal with it lol.

I love everything about the main character. Not just the ass. I think her bangs are cute too.

Hopefully the game play is as good as the character design. I imagine if sony is backing it there will be a certain level of quality

If by backing you mean budget then yeah, but resources generally speaking could include their woke DEI/ethics department shit too. I think the only reason it hasn't been ruined is it was already announced before Sony got their claws in it.

It's a gacha game that had some censorship drama at launch, but most of those people have quit the game and moved on when they realized Shift Up isn't gonna reverse course. They censored ultimate screens, they censored characters, they censored outfits... and it was quite obvious they were sudden changes because they fucked up the feet on the model of one during the edit. They said it was always planned or that it fits the character better now, but they lost a lot of creative people who quit the studio in protest of having to tone stuff down. Their main artist from Destiny Child for instance quit because he couldn't keep his promise to the audience that nothing would be censored so long as he was at the studio. Then later they actually released some sexier outfits and made one more character more skimpy, but then they put a t-shirt on a swimsuit character so I dunno. I think they don't even know anymore.

But man, the designs from like the announcement of Nikke gave Last Origin a run for its money. Shame we never got those as development went on.

And it's not Tencent that pushed it, it was Shift Up's CEO. Tencent has a fair number of other gachas that have much more risque outfits under their belt and generally don't pull a Mihoyo, they follow the money. So that's why I'm surprised that they didn't nerf Stellar Blade this time around. I mean, some Koreans were pointing out how the jiggle physics seemed to have been reduced from the initial announcement trailer and when it was announced to be a PS5 exclusive, but I think they brought it back.

EDIT: Oh, and they may have cut a shower scene kind of set up where you can check your shower if a Nikke is in there.

Let me preface this with me being old as fuck, the only thing that gives me slight pause is the character looks a tad young, is that just me being old and thinking any model under 25 looks like kid ?

That aside, I hope it's a good game and not just tits and ass being shoved in to hide a bad game.
