I noticed that there's just something about children's shows that brings out the crazy in people. Especially if it has an "adult" appeal

Maybe it's just because they grew up with cartoons, as most of us here probably did, and they cling to newer cartoons because cartoons have become more "mature" and. "progressive". At least for the SU fandom.

Of course, some children's shows are more susceptible to this than others.

Maybe it's just because they grew up with cartoons, as most of us here probably did, and they cling to newer cartoons because cartoons have become more "mature" and. "progressive". At least for the SU fandom.

Or, alternately, because they haven't really matured - which is why they're watching new cartoons, rather than their nostalgic ones - and want to justify their decision as being mature.

I'm noticing a trend on Tumblr where people who create fuckall outside of some shitty fanart feel justified in criticizing professional content. I'd wholly encourage them to create their own show and show us how it should be. After all, we've seen the remarkable "quality" of Gen Zed, so I guess anyone can get into this shit now.

It's amazing how tumblr is just so dense to even realize that people who crossdress (other than for humor) also are usually uncomfortable with themselves, insecure with their gender, or are like tumblrinas and are in some sort of pseudo-trans phase.

They were denied the right to have their autistic hold of a girls show and possibly claim it as a "safe space", so much that they don't get episodes pandered to them unlike bronies. Now, they have some hold on Steven Universe that they now end up being like bronies in making autistic OC's but instead of pastel horses, it's alien rocks.

That's ultimately the core of this. It really isn't about Steven Universe, they just were jealous pretty much for the exact reasons that guy mentioned. And it's pathetic.

In fact, the showrunners and staff are basically keeping them at arm's length and have learned that they're completely toxic and can't be dealt with reasonably. Even bronies were so worshipfully admiring (a few moments aside) that they didn't frighten off the staff. (Somewhat worryingly, the staff themselves seem to have gone native to some extent.)

The absolutely spastic tard rages of the Uncle Grandpa crossover were probably the final straw that way.

They'd envy bronies probably because they got pandered to from what I hear. Even then, the envy may as well be envy of wanting to be the fandom known for following a show made for girls, even though it's autistic and dumb because it's just obssessing over a show made for kids. The Steven Universe fandom shows us how it is with these people even though they didn't get a hold on MLP. It just shows a group of adults sperging over a cartoon but whereas most bronies just sperg in praise, the SJW fans of Steven Universe sperg in rage over fan-art they don't like and non-SJW fans just do the same autistic things as bronies in making donut steel OC's and dumb head-canons.
