Well, since we are lacking some actual SU shit, I decided to take a dive into the art hive itself, better known as DeviantArt. I regret everything.
But hey, I learned a couple of things, any OC of SU is called "gemsona", how original.

I don't even know where to start with that gallery, the ponies, the "gemsonas", the ponified pokemon... THIS.

It looks like we can hardly talk about SU without finding crossovers with other shit like Tumblr, trans, ponies, etc. I'm guessing we might need a mole that can guide us into this SU fandom and points us to only the craziest shit that fandom has to offer, because searching this blindly will only make my eyes sore.

1. Steven Universe is not a bad show and is probably worth a watch.

2. If you feel the urge to watch it more than once, you should probably find a sharp object to insert into your person before the disease spreads.

3. If you feel the urge to draw art inspired by the show, you are lost forever. Hopefully one of your friends or family members will have the sense to shoot you in the head. Kill the brain, and the body dies.

I have it to show how pathetic Dobson is, and partially to remind myself that he's basically the archetypical SU fan. I love laughing at off model stuff and people who screw up super simple styles like SU's are extra funny. Speaking of which, got any bad SU fan art?

The creators of the show are idiots themselves, but even they can't handle the fandom. I believe one of the writing staff had a Tumblr and they got harassed off the site because something happened in the show (might've been that crossover, might've been something else), or because they posted something controversial (by Tumblr standards). Even people like Rebecca Sugar are trying to distance themselves. Yes, the fandom is that caustic. The most caustic fandom yet, I think. Not even Homestuck compares, and the creator of Homestuck took the piss out of SJWs all the time.

I think the one that got run off of Tumblr was Matt Burnett, and I shit you not, it was all over a character loving pie in one episode and hating it in another. They always yell at the fandom to behave but aren't the best at not starting shit themselves. It doesn't take a genius to realize maybe you shouldn't retweet art that can be controversial (like one of their director's did), shit on your audience (like a writer did), or make "jokes" about your love for a character (like a VA did.)

These people are supposed to be professionals, but they act only slightly better than their fandom.

For context i put together a tumblr blog to more easily follow some of the tumblr cows and to find fresh ones. I don't post and i dont like pages with it.

About two weeks after following a graphic pornblog about women with winking arseholes followed me.

What im saying is no child on tumblr will stay innocent for long and the SU fandoms hysteria is a complete strawman.

Edit: can we have a general rule that one should never be giving opinions of a show itself on these threads- we presume you are a functioning adult and do not watch childrens tv, anyone who feels the need to publically correct that assumption is not suited to this sub and invariably derail a la the entersphere sub or brony threads.
