As for the whole “Peridot is aroace” thing is concerned that just felt like pure self-fulfillment on Maya Peterson’s part and claiming Word of Saint Paul on the whole announcement felt incredibly disrespectful to Rebecca, if Rebecca wants the green triangle Gem to be a turbo-autist in both the social and romantic sense then let HER Be the one to confirm it.

I'd assume the crew is going around doing the ego protecting shit because of trouble getting new work. It's now pretty obvious they'll shove in SJW shit into any new work they do, essentially making them liabilities seeing as all the gay characters being shoved into everything no longer is shocking and gets more eye rolls than anything else.

How fitting is it that a space rock made from light a "robot" is talking about what natural human brains do.

Humans by nature are born to recognize other humans by their physical appearance and facial features. They exist in the first place just purely due to environment and whatever humans were able to pass on their genes. The social part of it is whoever is deemed more attractive. But sure, let's keep focusing on how whatever race you are makes you trash because you recognize different races.
