Steven Universe - Now a Griefing Thread

Steven Universe will never end. It is the only thing associated with social justice politics that was actually successful. So now, it will go on until the end of time. They can't let it die. Rebecca Sugar has spent more than two seasons doing bullshit. She can keep doing bullshit until the fabric of space breaks enough so that she's physically incapable of writing any new episodes.

At least the show will barely have any content.
Lets face it: Even if the show runs for like 10 more years, less than 4 seasons worth of content will be made considering that schedule.

Its funny because of the writers mentioned that they had planned this out with Rebecca Sugar for a long time even way before the show was even made.

But if that was the case, why werent there more hints about this. Or at least some clues that Pearl knew more than anyone else.

There are so many previous episodes that just look totally different now , now that we know the truth.

But what is delicious is the amount of salt and tears coming from the SU fans especially on tumblr.

A few SU youtubers are even pissed off at this and dislike Rose Quartz now.

So, how about that latest reveal eh?

It was emotionally charged, perfectly executed, and masterfully written, just like every other episode of the show. Animation was 4/10

Actually with the way Cartoon network has been focusing on TTG and how badly they advertise SU, I dont see the show lasting for so long.

Especially with all the dumb hiatus. I can see them do hiatus after hiatus only to come up with one more season to end the show. But it would end up taking years for the show to end because of those breaks.

Watching the episodes as they aired from the very beginning, when nobody knew what the show actually was or where it was going, was a unique experience that can’t really be recreated now that all the cats are out of the bag. It’s the only real problem with the secretive way they told the story.

The “Rose Was a Diamond” has been a theory that went back and forth for a while. It was very on/off for a while. People quit believing it when some shit happened in the show, then it came back up, then off again. Now the theory people quit believing has now been confirmed.
As for when I’ll get back to watching the show, I’ll get back to it when Jasper comes back. Seeing as how she was the only character that made sense.

Reading into all of this and finally breaking and seeing these latest eps., yeah. This show should have ended a long ass time ago - a stance I still stand by, even after all this time. Especially now that they've written themselves into such a huge fucking corner that no amount of fighting == any sort of escape here.

Just about anything else - I usually have to force myself to watch new episodes of this. And that's just wrong, honestly.

So there was no murder after all. Pink Diamond—Rose—had to create the illusion that she’d been shattered, in order to allow the rebellion to come to fruition free the Earth of Diamond rule forever. (Except that, of course, it doesn’t seem like Rose or Pearl anticipated the devastating attack that wiped out most of the Crystal Gems.) At the moment, it seems like Steven Universe is more interested in interrogating how everyone will respond to this information rather than diving deeper into questions of how the Diamond Authority works and what actually happened to Pink. After all, based on her reaction at the very end of the episode, it seems like not even Garnet knew the truth. And like Garnet back in “Pool Hopping,” I’m pleased to say that I really have no clue what’s going to happen next.

I'm sorry, but all I see is some really bad writing in a show that claims to be smart and unique... Which already spells trouble for itself, if you ask me.
