I really appreciate the existence of this board and everyone who posts here. Thanks @Null for making this space and giving it the room to breathe you have. Lots of diverse opinions, obviously many of them are brutally dismissive of the trans phenomenon, but across the board this is a place for a lot of different people to come together and have honest open discussions about a very fraught topic. That therapist genuinely makes me a little angry to watch him. I have a particular loathing for bad therapists (which is many of them). In the parts I've watched he repeatedly interrupts Blaire, multiple times starts playing for the camera with general aphorisms trying to sound wise and insightful when he should be actually listening and there are multiple moments where Blaire alludes to something traumatic and he's sitting there with a big smile on his face nodding enthusiastically. And to cap it all, what sort of responsible therapist would condone putting someone's therapy on YouTube? Obviously Blaire White is okay with it going up on some level but to me it is exploitative to agree or encourage that.
