She loves the negative attention, but at the same time wants to piss about it on Tumblr to get her little hugbox to coddle her. Like she can't make up her mind if she wants people to rip on her or praise her like she's Jesus incarnate.

I think she gets off on the coddling.

"L-Look, guys! Those haters are telling me to clean my room, again! I just want to be left alone, but coddle me first, okay? Tell me I'm amazingly cool since I have "fans," now? Pretty please?"

If a prospective employer were to call this cheesesteak place to verify employment, it's not illegal to confirm that a) she is currently employed there and b) whether she is eligible for rehire, depending on state law. Texas may be different, but, you know.

Even if just some random guy calls them, it's not illegal for them to say whatever they feel like about her, even saying she's fat, everyone hated her, and they fired her for being a lunatic. Many places choose only to confirm employment and the rehire thing because it avoids potential lawsuits for some sort of defamation.

she obviously hasn't heard of The Dozens or any similar concept of "riffing" on people, of course she would never make it through a single round.
...
You wanna play The Dozens?
Well, The Dozens is a game,
But the way we doxxed your mother
is a God Damn shame.
I'm not sorry.

That's not even a thing that should BE anything more than an internal stream of consciousness people shouldn't think "I think I'll go get sushi maybe, let me blog about how I want to first though." because that is mundane shit that no one should care about, not even you. I have not once ever thought going to get food was something I should broadcast to absolutely everyone.

Is she worried about getting hit by a car because there's no sidewalk? Just do what I do: wear a really bright, reflective coat. It's not foolproof, but it's a way to make sure that drivers can actually see you in the dark and avoid you. Also, just walk along the grass at the side of the road, not the pavement. It's not the end of the world, Kayla.

In my state I've always heard it's illegal to confirm anything other than if they worked there, when they worked there, and if they are eligible for rehire. But that could just be HR's way to make sure that's all employees give out.

Remember, the last time Kayla said she was "almost done", she later admitted all she did was shove everything to one side. So by normal standards, it's probably still filthy. I'll believe it when I see pics.

Also, don't forget the "90% of everything Kayla says is a lie" claus.

I'd be interested in seeing any such statute, because it would be clearly unconstitutional if it existed.

It's a very common policy, though, because it just prevents drama and possible litigation.
