I'd be interested in seeing any such statute, because it would be clearly unconstitutional if it existed.
It's a very common policy, though, because it just prevents drama and possible litigation.
Yeah, it's entirely likely the only penalties were civil pending a lawsuit based on whether a bad review cost a job, but it was just easier to say "illegal."Anyway, my point was there are ways to confirm where this chick works if you knew how to ask the question. XD
