Do you think I’d speak for you? I don’t even know your language.
Visit the bus stops often, do ya?
Nikki also has a child. She has a son with a Swedish man who has since remarried. IIRC she couldn’t handle living in Sweden so they all went back to The States to try it out. Not sure how much of that is true since you can’t just try it out. You can stay for a 3 month visit but then you have to go back unless you get a spousal visa/K1 and that shit is pricey which I don’t think they would have been able to afford. Also I don’t know that they were actually married. Could have been. It’s super easy to get married in Sweden and import spouses.
So I think he went for the three month visit and then HAD to go back because his time was up and took the baby with him because Nikki couldn’t support that baby in The States on her own.
According to Nikki, she was eventually awarded custody but by that point the baby’s country of habitual residence was already established in Sweden and my guess, if the rest of the story is true, is that The Hague pumped the breaks on their involvement following an investigation. They will look at the situation and decide to get involved only if a true kidnapping scenario has happened and only if returning the child to the mother/father is in the child’s best interest which it would not have been in this case as we can all see.
@Sekhmet666 Correct me if I’m wrong. Also, invite Dennis to the thread so we can get to know him and the wonderful world of polycule life.
