Super Smash Bros.

Well, I've played the game for about a total of 10 hours now, and I've unlocked every stage and every character except R.O.B. I think I can safely say that this is (at least so far) my favorite game in the Smash series. It is amazing how much content they've packed into this games, especially considering how it is on a portable console. Since I grew up playing on Game Boy Color it blows my mind that I can now play Smash on a portable console. I do have a minor gripe though, and it is more a hardware limitation and personal preference thing. I am used to using the c-stick on the Gamecube controller to do Smash attacks, so while it isn't the development teams fault that the 3DS doesn't have another control stick, it has still been a pain to adjust to doing Smash attacks with the stick+A.
How goes unlocking characters's alternate moves?

How goes unlocking characters's alternate moves?

It can take a while for you to unlock all the moves for each characters. You earn them by chance in either Classic Mode, Target Blast, Smash Run, or Trophy Rush. I've been playing for 3-4 hours and I unlocked 15 different specials. It seems like a trade-off for being able to unlock characters easily this time around.

I be hopefully getting it this Wednesday through Amazon. I will post my thoughts when I get around to it. By the way to anyone with the game, is there any sort of change to Ganon or he's the same?

This game is super fun, I'm addicted to it. It has my favorite Smash gameplay yet and right now I'm trying to complete all the challenges...even though most of em are kinda stupid. I've unlocked all the characters and stages. though.

Right now I main Bowser, Duck Hunt Dog, Lucina, Samus, Zero Suit Samus and Mii Gunner.

I unlocked R.O.B. earlier today meaning that I now have all characters and stages. I also recently unlocked the bonus rules menu for the Smash mode, although I have no idea how I did. Anyways, I was worried that the fun might die down once I unlocked all the characters and stages, but instead I'm having more fun trying to figure out which characters I should main and doing the challenges.

They are rarer than trophies, so I don't have that many of them. I only have about 9 or 10 of them, which at first sounds like a lot, but there's (at least) 29 characters that I haven't unlocked any moves for!

A really easy way to collect a bunch is just replay Smash Run a ton. Its what I've been doing so far

So far I haven't found Smash Run very useful for unlocking moves. I prefer going through Classic at max difficulty.

Here.

This still won't guarantee custom moves, but its still incredibly likely.

Hey guys, tell me if my attachment file is true for your main or not. I feel like this is pretty accurate.

Omg, Samus is pretty much me. Even though I still like playing as Zero Suit I'm glad they removed the thing where you have to play her if you use the Zero Lazer. My friends say I'm pretty good but I don't care to the point where I'm all hardcore too.

Also when I'm playing as Duck Hunt Dog the first thing on my mind is pure torment for the other players.

I also know a guy who fits the Mario description 100%, I'm not joking. He even uses Sword + Shield in DS.

Duck Hunt is the most amusing character on the roster. You can really mess with people with that explosive can. I've been juggling through 8 different characters, which are Mario, Pit, Lucina, Robin, Shulk, Dr. Mario, Dark Pit, and Little Mac. I plan on trying out more as I continue playing.

I managed to get all the characters, so now most of my time should now be devoted to getting all the character trophies in Classic Mode.

I'm still testing the waters and all but I main Mac and Pac-Man and a tiny bit of Duck Hunt and Wario occasionally, looking to expand towards Rosalina.

I need to keep fighting. I'm stuck on a 122 W 122 L on 1v1 for glory.

I had heard Nov 21st from multiple rumors, but its good to finally actually have it confirmed. Now I got to look into that Amiibo bundle I heard about since I can get GameCube controllers elsewhere for free.

Edit: Hey guys, the other day I saved a replay that was too fucking incredible not to save. It was early on and I was still learning how to play Mac, and his side-b really gave me trouble at first. But... Take a look at this guys.

Holy crap I was on a team match on For Fun that was so laggy that I thought it would be impossible to complete the match, let alone win it. Surprisingly, I managed to KO both members on the opposite team in Sudden Death. After it finally ended, I was like "OH HELL NO!" and just left.

Does anyone else experience this? This always seems to happen to me whenever I do team smash half of the time.

Smash lags like crazy from time to time, and i primarily play 1v1 For Glory which says a lot. It's just another in the long list of reasons why Smash 3DS shouldn't exist, and also another reason I'm getting Smash Wii U day 1.

Smash 3DS is the best demo ever though

We get it. You really don't like Sakurai or portable smash. There's no need to mention it in every post.

Here's my impressions so far having unlocked most of the characters. The game runs pretty well. Everything feels smooth, and fast. I been using Shulk, and he feels natural so far. So far for online, I have 7 wins/12 loses through I just like having a intense fight then worrying about how many wins or whatnot I have. I tried For Fun and the lag was very noticeable.
