I won't be surprised if some people are ticked off by Meta Knight's return as he was OP in Brawl. Still, not going to lie, its awesome to have him back.

I knew Meta Knight would come back.

Fun Fact: SSB4's roster now equals the SSBB roster at 39 characters (If the Mii Fighters are separated into 3 different characters).
 
So what're the remaining predictions? I personally see Shulk showing up to push the new Xenoblade, and I hope that we see either Wonder Red or Wonder Blue. Bayonetta is pretty much impossible but it would be incredible if she could show up too.
 
There's actually acouple of thing that supports the possibility of Shulk. His voice actor actually mentions being in a major project. Also here's a photo that has the Monado.

They announced Ness on the day Brawl came out in Japan (along with the leak of Subspace Emissary beforehand), so he'll either will be shown in the next reveal or when the game comes out in Japan on Sept. 13th.

After lurking on ssb4dojo.com and Smashboards, I've been wanting Dark Pit, Ghirahim, Ridley, and Shulk to be the newcomers. If you're skeptic about Ridley, there's a thread on Smashboards that has some REALLY good speculation going on.
 
I need my Mother characters and I need them now :(

I thought about this today and seeing as most people here are excited. How about hosting a community event like a tournament or something when the game comes out?

For the most part they don't announce unlockable characters. When the NA and European released of SSBB were delayed they announced the unlockable characters only after it was released in Japan, when the unlockable characters would've become public anyways. And Melee's full roster was leaked before it's release. We don't have close to the full roster yet, I can guarantee it. Be patient.

Anyways, I hope we get a direct or something before August ends. Have at least one more newcomer shown off before the game comes out in Japan.

Other than that, I'm really liking what we have so far. Smash Run will be a hell of a lot of fun to play.

Nightmare Wizard is announced as an assist trophy.

Pic of the day. Nightmare Wizard appears as an Assist Trophy! He will engulf the stage in darkness, and fighters will need to brawl blindly for a while. Look out for the effect before it goes dark, and play it to your advantage. Blinding and reversal effects even make the computer players mess up.
