This person wants Arch mass reported

I guess it's because he said they were fat or some shit.

At this point, hating Arch is a minor religion to them. How DARE he refuse to leave the hobby they're trying to take over for instagram credit?
I don't really like Arch since he's always biased on IP's that aren't Warhammer, but I don't think he should be canceled because he doesn't like any non-Warhammer science fiction or fantasy seri4es. It's always something with these people. He calls the BLM riots for what they are, the scream "cancel", he calls someone fat "cancel!". Turns out he's your typical white Norwegian "cancel!".

Fixed that for you.

Groups to Keep an Eye On
If you’re looking to find drama, lulz, or skub, there are a few places you can go. These groups stir up negative reactions and often get in slap fights with each other when there’s not infighting. They’re generally less disciplined than the YouTubers and often more autistic.

Ambiguous Alpha Memes: generally right leaning, stirs up the pot. Gets in a lot of slap fights with Sigmarxism and Blood Ravens meme page. Got shitcanned. Or did they?

Bells of Lost Souls: Could very well have his own thread. Has a lot of haters but is known primarily for being a shitty gaming tabloid that was the impetus for many to finally install ad block for the first-time. They’re infamous for their clickbait. Their unboxing videos on YouTube are ok but I hate their website, their clickbait, and how they always pop up first whenever I’m trying to find any news related to 40k. Also, they’re in Austin Texas, which explains everything. They’ve been tricked with fake rumors on a regular basis. They also sperg out a lot at times.

They’re owned by Lauro Vela who is the senior editor and president. BOLS is located in 5709 KELI COURT AUSTIN, TX 78735 and their mailing address is 1500 VILLANOVA DR, AUSTIN, TX, 78757. Their phone number is 5126330934. https://www.facebook.com/larry.vela. https://www.youtube.com/c/belloflostsouls/featured

Bolter and Chainsword: is a marine forum. So it heavily skews towards marines and chaos marines.

(Blood) Meme Ravens: I think this page changed ownership as it’s more progressive now. Occasionally a-logs Arch. Will make 40k memes but frequently devolves into political sperging. I expect it to get banned eventually too. Has been banned in the past. Is funnier than sigmarxism but at times can make a cow out of themselves too.

Dakka Dakka: It's a forum that many redditors consider toxic...

40k for feminists: (archive) exactly what you’d think it is. It’s mostly men white knighting a few feminists. Arch made a few videos on them and Sargon did a livestream which I had to chop up to archive locally here. I missed some parts, but I'll fix it later.

Kiwi Farms: We have a couple threads that discuss 40k and roleplaying. There have been a few interesting moments. @Randall Fragg has done some threads on bad rpgs like Wraethu, Black Tokyo, Succubus Blade, etc. We also had a thread on That Guy stories.

Historical Tabletop: exactly what it sounds like. It also has the same roots, but it sticks to a particular era like the Roman Republic, early WWII, the American Civil War, Napoleonics, etc. Its generally played by older men since it’s even more niche, therefore harder to find games and it can add up in cost. Common flash points include Weiraboos, left wingers flipping out about historical Nazis, autism about uniforms, and the constant debate about the hobby dying/being too old, etc. Since they’re boomers Facebook is a good place to find them.

RPGNet: It's very infamous and has its own thread. @Wallace accurately describes it as NEOGAF for tabletop.

Sigmarxism: exactly what you think it is. Hates any conservative YouTubers and frequently a-logs Commissar Gamza and Arch. Also is the nemesis of Ambiguous Alpha Legion memes. Really like the grot communists from Gorka Morka. They also wrote a nutty FAQ (archive).

/tg/: the containment board for Warhammer. Back in the day there were slapfights between Warhammer fans and furries. The Warhammer sperging on /b/ led to the creation of the board, which was also meant to discuss other tabletop games. It’s frequently the center of a lot of drama. https://archive.4plebs.org/tg/ is where you can find archived posts.

Warhammer for Grownups: Started as a page meant for mature individuals. What this meant varied. Some wanted to talk about politics (left or right) others just wanted to focus on Warhammer. It ended up splintering because some were convinced they opposed Free Speech.

Warhammer 40 k for Adults: started as a group to get away from snowflakes, cucks, and naturally encourage free speech. It’s a break off of Warhammer for Grown Ups which tried to be apolitical and thus were opposed to free speech. At its inception it was incredibly cringe and quickly devolved into infighting and uneven banning which resulted in several splinter groups, which I was going to include but when I checked it turned out they were zucc'd like 1-3 years ago (depending on the group).

Warseer: It was home to a lot of rumormongers. It focuses a lot on fluff, rumors, etc. It’s not my favorite site, but I pity it because it’s been hacked and has gone down a few times for long stretches of time. It never has really recovered.

Alternative Companies:
Whenever a major company like GW does something controversial and loses fans, another system will try to fill the gap. Sometimes these are fan led, other times they’re just trying to capitalize off angry fans.

Mantic: They were founded by Ronnie an exGW employee. Started selling cheaper fantasy models that were meant to be used in games of Warhammer Fantasy. This was a factor in GW rebooting their fantasy line. They also made their own games which were generally more streamlined. They have a few iPs like the Walking Dead and Mars Attacks.

Onyx Path/White Wolf: Founded by White Wolf director Richard Thomas. They publish the White Wolf ips such as vampire masquerade. They also publish their own books, some of which are very cringe like Legendlore. https://archive.md/j2UUr

There you go, and here’s the link to the Legendlore Kickstarter:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/339646881/legendlore-rpg-setting-for-5th-edition-fantasy-roleplaying-0 archive

White Wolf once threatened to overtake D&D but has ultimately failed to do so. It was reorganized/dissolved twice, once in 2012 and later in 2018. The straw that broke the camels back was a controversy regarding “two new sourcebooks for Vampire: The Masquerade released by White Wolf, named Camarilla and Anarch. The latter contained sections which called those who committed suicide “weak” and a included posts from a “Mommy Vampire” social media group with controversial posts, including one that talked about feeding vampire blood to babies.” More egregiously was the recent “real-world torture, imprisonment, and execution of gay men first reported in 2017 was part of this cover-up of vampire activities.” Which pissed off gays, Russians, and the Chechen Republic.

Paizo: Paizo was initially Paizo Publishing. They made magazines for Wizards until 2008. However their main product, pathfinder, took off when D&D launched the unpopular 4th edition. Their version of the game, some called it 3.75 or 3.P. They came out with a second edition which ticked off some 3.5 loyalists. They also have Starfinder and generally are more progressive. This can be a bit lulzy since some of the hardcore 3.5 fans are not very PC.

Privateer Press: Is based in Washington. They were the go to company for fans angry with 40k. However due to no play testing, banning dissidents who brought up issues with the game, logistical issues, a failed kickfundme video game campaign, and the general positive reception of 8th edition they’re all but dead now.

Creator & Misc Cows:
Alex Harrison (archive of Dakka Dakka threads): Gets caught cheating on a livestream (archive). Is infamous for being WAAC: Win at all costs, including cheating.
View attachment 1850909
Art of War & Brohammer: Abuses ITC/tournament format in an attempt to boost their ratings. It is partially an attempt to make them look better because they sell 40k lessons. LMAO. Following images come from Dakka Dakka:

Anna Kreider (archive of Farms OP): Also known as "The Wicked Witch of Gaming." Abusive, unapologetic misandrist currently crowdfunding her double mastectomy. She is a misanthropic Swerf whose clearly mentally ill and incapable of managing her rage. She frequently rants about women who are better looking than her, about how she hates and is scared of men, and if left to her own devices will make games about dying of cancer, humiliating males, and fighting against her depiction of toxic masculinity. @Yaoi Huntress Earth is an expert on her and once made her meltdown by telling her that her art was subpar.
View attachment 1850929
Bryon Hall (archive of 1d4chan article): Is the creator of the infamous game F.A.T.A.L. Which he dubbed the most historically accurate game, which is code for needlessly complex. It’s really his magical realm: the game. It got dumped on by RPG.net in this review (archive). He wrote a lengthy response/sperg post to the criticism his game received (archive).View attachment 1827593View attachment 1827594View attachment 1827595View attachment 1827596View attachment 1827597

Chuck Wendig (archive): Started with White Wolf, serving as irrefutable evidence to White Wolf being a den of autism and spergery. Then started writing some of the worst Star Wars books in existence, which is saying something. @damian wrote the OP and knows a lot about him.
Daniel D. Fox: He helped make the second edition of Warhammer and then tried to make Zweihander (archive). He CONSTANTLY shills his game but also is well known for using copyright strikes and opposing rpg archives, which makes it hard to play old and out of print games which aren't sold anywhere. So, whatever you do, don't pirate his game or encourage others to do it, he is not afraid of suing people and will throw hissy fits, so don't pirate his game and don't distribute it. Whatever you do, don't google his game or search for it on pirate or archive sites. He will also pretend to be based or woke, depending on who he is trying to shill his stuff too. He's become buddies with Zoey Quinn. Presumably they bonded over taking cash from nerds.
David Hill (archive): Former Onyx Path writer turned narcissist/ dangerhaired troon. Surprisingly, has an outspoken Twitter account. His passion project, iHunt, is basically r/LateStageCaptialism: The Game. For most of his life he was a WHITE MALE which he now refers to as the devil, being a beautiful woman. He wrote Beast - The Primordial (archive ): The game by a male feminist (archive), for male feminists! It's basically about how monsters like Hydra and Dragons are misunderstood. Also includes Gaymergate and MAGA references! She still writes like an angry 14 year old boy and attempts to criticize things she's never seen, like Star Wars. Madam Hill, being a prick, is not surprisingly also a transhumanist. @BlueArmedDevil is our expert on Hill's antics.
View attachment 1850930
Matt McFarland: another writer of Beast - The Primordial. Surprisingly ended up harassing minors.
Matt Ward: Is less active now as a cow but wrote some of the most unbalanced codices in 4th and 5th edition. Made a lot of fans hate Ultramarines. Gets a-logged to this day by those who don't recognize the majesty of Guilliman's magnificent return thanks to his space elf waifu.

View attachment 1817563
Mike Mearls (archive): The hyper woke co-designer of 5th edition. Also the lead developer of 4th edition. Helped for a time on Baldur's gates. He hates modular systems and thinks people who play it are assholes. He also believes women are incapable of playing complex rule sets, doing math, or being familiar with literature.
View attachment 1850948

Phil 'goatboy' Brucato (archive): Yet another White Wolf writer. (Where the fuck did they find these guys?) known by the aliases 'goatfucker' or 'Satyros.' Like other White Wolf writers he's batshit insane. A significant portion of White Wolf's indulgant bullshit and creeper fetish shit can be traced to this loon. He's a wonky paganist who believes his works are a form of chaos magic that becomes reality. Emperor knows what that means when he created furries Changing Breeds. White Wolf made a 'parody' of him, which can barely qualify as such considering its accuracy.
View attachment 1850931 View attachment 1850932
Rev Kenneth Malyneaux: Not related to the other cows with the same last name. Wrote an incomplete and cringe white supremacist rpg called Racial Holy War (archive). Is literally a cultist. He has a blog (archive). The SPLC, I know they’re not always popular since they’re considered to be grifters, actually did a decent write up (archive) on them. He also wrote a novel “dedicated to the white race.”

a while ago I was talking with a guy online about some stuff, mostly sjw shit. One of defences I shit you not was that by supporting female space marines he was sticking it to arch warhammer wereas I was supporting him. Which led to the following line of questions

1) who is arch warhammer?
2) why would I care what he thinks?
3) If he said the sky was blue would it turn green?
4) You realize hes probably never heard of you and you can't stop him playing warhammer?

and my conclusion: "on a personal level you have the weirdest parasocial relationship with this guy I've ever seen. " while pathetic it was remarkably insightful in how a lot of sjw's and anti-sjws are codependant

If there’s one thing they have in common is how both anti SJWs and SJWs hate primaris it’s quite interesting.

I didnt have enough time to write a full explanation but I have seen complaints on primaris from both sides

Anti SJWs

>Space Marines look less horrifying and more like marvel superheroes
>Primaris have to much new equipment and its agasint the stagnation theme of 40k
>Primaris have retarded lore

SJWs (Sigmarxism mostly)
>Space marines are meant to look horrifying so it shows the horrors of facism
>Primaris lean to much into glorifying modern day military (There are primaris marines based more on tacticool and stealth)
>Primaris make the imperium seem competent and that means facism is good

You forgot a big one:
>WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH THEY DIDN'T MAKE FEMALE SPACE MARINES! IT WAS THEIR PERFECT CHANCE!

I wonder why female marine simps hardly talk about Bile and his New Men, aside from the fauxfans who probably don't even know who he is. He has a 'daughter' who somehow wrecks face and his genetic cockroaches are both violently genocidal AND inclusive to women! Maybe I'm missing something.

The Primaris not looking horrifying enough was kind of odd but I didn't care to look deeply into those opinions. They have somewhat limited imagination when it comes to that kind of gritty future I think, or maybe follow official illustrations too much? Even in a universe where people are used to the occasional human that looks like they rolled through a scrap field, I always liked the idea Astartes looked uncanny and kind of grotesque, like an over-bred pitbull or meat beast. Primaris could be both shiny newbois with gnarly implants and modifications bordering on disfiguration.

It's probably worth noting marines are often quite influenced by their primarch. For example Blood angels and non corrupted emperors children were classically handsome a lot of the time or Raven guard or night lords looking weird. It makes sense for Primaris to be better looking is simply a biproduct of a smoother refined transition vs firstborn 'it'll do'' production.

Really, no mention of "coal black crocodile skin with glowing eyes" Salamanders? Okay.

Anyway, weren't the Primaris originally based off the Ultramarines and that's why Chapters that originally couldn't have successors like the Space Wolves can have Primaris successors now? Because if that's the case it makes sense that Primaris look so bland: their base genetic stock is the Blandest Of Them All.

No, Cawl made Primaris of every single legion with geneseed from the vaults of Terra. Could possibly even have made some from the lost legions. So Space Wolf Primaris are genuine Space Wolves. But their Primaris successors can't go to Fenris or else their gene seed becomes fucked up and will only work on Fenrisians like the current Space Wolves. So they've finally shifted and offered an explanation for why Space Wolves haven't had notably successful successors. It's 100% a cop out, but planets fucking with geneseed has had presedent for quite some time. Salamanders geneseed interacting poorly with the heavy gravity of Nocturne is what turns their skin so unnaturally black.

Ah, okay. I thought I had read somewhere that Cawl used the Ultramarines to fill in the gaps in the other legions' geneseeds, since IIRC they were one of the few out there without any malfunctioning organs. Must be misremembering, then.

I suspect they were leaning into that, but aborted when the reaction to "lets just make all the Primaris generic Ultramarines in different colors" was immediate revulsion.

The sad thing is... they really do need to do a line crunch. There are simply too many Space Marine units. Or expand the other factions to match. I'd love to see 25 different Eldar Tanks, wouldn't you?

A small army range where everything is good is usuable, is always better then a range that has 120 models but only maybe a quarter are stuff you want to use.

Personally if they gave us female SM I’d do the same thing that I do with normal SM, either convert them to Chaos (lol no)or crucify and maim them onto bases, scenery or vehicles. It’s not like our based Chaos-chads would let Imperial Whores join their warbands.

I think a lot of guys would go along these lines.

“Fluff update, my chapter went renegade/turned to Chaos.”
BAEBAF18-1322-4CD8-803F-0F9AA4B4E66F.png

Plus Slaanesh rape fanfics would skyrocket.

The problem is, anything other than glowing tongue jobs about how amazing female space marines are would just be used as ammo as to why we not only needed female space marines, it's high time some of the characters come out as gay or trans, and the fascism elements of the game need to go away because it's poisoning the minds of the youth, and do we really need all this "war" and "combat" in this hobby?

I.e., it's not, nor ever has been, about making the hobby better or more inclusive. It's about forcing the change because we don't want the change. That's what a conquering force does to a conquered people, after all.

Bit of a personal story, but fits the thread by discussing about playing against a win-at-all-costs guy and turning the tables on him.

Some time ago, I took part in a friendly 40k apocalypse game. No strict points values, just show up with as much as you want. The WAAC guy gets wind of it and decides to bring what I can describe as a Knight Household and a Titan Legion. About like 4-5 Titans of varying sizes (no warlords), and dozens of knights, including Forge World variants. This guy wanted to win, not to have fun. So the person in charge of the game decided to give this guy a taste of his own medicine. He called up some of the player that hadn't arrived and asked them to bring their full armies, not just what they wanted to bring. Pretty soon the WAAC guy was facing down a full tyranid swarm, an armored Imperial Guard brigade, a formation of eldar titans, several groups of knights, and pretty much everybody else.

After the several hours that was the first turn, the WAAC guy still stood strong, but I guess he started to sense that he was being fucked with. About mid-way through second turn, we took a lunch break, but by the time we came back, the WAAC guy packed up and left.

Anyone else have any similar stories?
Yep. Had someone loosely attached to my social circle in the dying days of 40k 3rd ed who played nids.
Not a bad guy but an absolute WAAC maven with a 140 decibel voice that could strip paint at twenty paces.
Through creative rules interpretation in the 'nid codex he found a loophole that (he claimed) let his spore mines spawn more spore mines.
There were other players he'd pulled this on and gotten away with it.

He pulled the trick on me halfway through his first turn. I disagreed with his interpretation. He disagreed with mine.
So I reached over the table, shook his hand, and congratulated him on his win, then started packing up.
Much to the amusement of the onlookers, he literally started sputtering like his brain had shorted out.
He told me I wasn't allowed to quit and I told him that there was no rule in 40k that required me to play against him.

The peanut gallery, all of whom he'd tried this trick against (and weren't the kind to object to it), were less than sympathetic to his appeals to them that I was a poor sport.
Funnily enough, he stayed in the shadows at our games nights for a few months, watching us have fun until 4th ed came out.
Then he asked for a few games, stopped being a cheesey cunt, and started having fun himself.
God knows he had a lot more people accept his offers of games than he'd had previously.

To the best of my knowledge he still goes to games nights, isn't a WAAC rules lawyering dipshit any more, and is generally well liked.

Also, mark my words: the day female Space Marines become canon is the day 40k dies.
GW are a pack of turbocunts that have moved from flirting with SocJus to giving it a good fingerblasting behind the bike shed, but they know there are things that 99% of the fanbase simply cannot and will not ever forgive.
