Tabletop Roleplaying Games (D&D, Pathfinder, CoC, ETC.)

I was doing some cleaning the other day and stumbled across my SLA industries books.... good times

Want some balls to the wall crazy fun times?

Run an Exalted campaign with semi-serious folks. With Exalted you can pull of super crazy stunts as long as you have a DM that can match the players in creativity.

Sigh...good times....why'd I move again. :heart-empty:
I do enjoy chances to be creative.

The same guy I mentioned earlier and I, we wondered if vehicles counted as items for the purpose of intelligent items in PF. if that were the case we could have a BBEG with a flying warship that can cast ressurection (or was it true ressurection?) once a month. Considering the siege weaponry you can have on those things it got pretty fun.

It was more fun deciding to try and build a campaign around alchemist enemies- we figured that greater plague rockets (admittedly the rockets are lower range than ballistae-bombs, but they're online at a lower level and come with an inbuilt aoe which saves several feats ) would really ruin a city filled with commoners, but a bag of rats implanted with bombs would be worse- plague is bad, but confusion and the building-damaging ones might be scary too.

Thing is, you can also make bombs which hurt certain alignments and you can implant them in helpless and willing subjects.

I can imagine an order of paladins doing that maybe.

I've finally got a D&D campaign going after a long time. I suppose the funniest part is last session when they split the party almost immediately. There were a few hectic moments.

For D&D stories of my past there was the story of the troll's package.

I knew someone who was nice enough to give me a free PDF of the Maid RPG and after rolling up a Master (what the game calls a DM), I started getting the idea of making this eccentric inventor a cross between Gregory House and a sociopathic Bunsen Honeydew. Pretty much the maids would be his Beakers. Then play it with some hopeless otakus.

So are there any new gaming books that are coming out that you're really interested in getting? Let's see: updated books for Kinfolks and Ghouls, The Black Hand: A Guide to the Tal’Mahe’Ra, Shattered Dreams (it covers the war of the rage), the Bunyip Tribeboo and it won't be until 2018 when we get a 5ed version of the Ravenloft setting.

Oh god, this looks completely cringe worthy.
We have to play it after FATAL.
Anyway, would anyone be interested in participating in a post-apocalyptic RPG with me? It would essentially be something like Mad Max, only with more weirdness (telepathy, robots, ancient horrors that exist in spite of all natural laws).

There is some cringy stuff like the random clothes and loli rules (if I remember correctly.)

I really need to find myself some copies of the latest DnD Sourcebooks and get back into it. Would love to find something to play after we inevitably TPK in FATAL.

I'm up for just about anything. What system would this game use?

Custom system that @Uzumaki made. Basic mechanic is rolling a number of dice equal to an Attribute (Endurance, Perception, ect) + a Skill (Firearms, Archery, ect). A 5 or a 6 on a die counts as a success. I've played with it and had some fun. I also made some home brewed stuff for it.
If I ran a game, the starting scenario would be "the PCs are mercenaries/traders/travelers on a caravan. Essentially a basic thing to let the characters meet and the players to learn the scenario and setting before letting them loose.

So sort of like ye olde DnD "Tavern for adventurers" start?

I will never not be up for Alien Earth. I was really sad when Uzumaki disappeared and our game ran out of steam.

Yeah, that was awesome. I regret that my Juggalo warrior never got to finish the fight and be the dream.
Is anyone else up for some post-apocalyptic shenanigans? It would either be a Play By Post or on Roll20.

https://kiwifarms.net/threads/a-kiwi-play-by-post-game.16124/ is up, thanks to @Surtur. Go make your wishes known.
