His hips, stomach and face are still so fat, but his limbs are so skinny. How in the world do you end up with a body type like that and not see it happening? I know he's not good with faces, but he had to notice his stomach is huge and his legs are little bird limbs?

More evidence that he has whatever disorder it is that affects Autistic males that makes them look more female. Women store fat in their trunk and hips while men distribute it evenly.
 
Supporting evidence for the man in the photo being Chris Chan:
1. Wearing the exact same boots as I've seen Chris Chan wearing recently.
2. Hair is exactly the same, to the color, ponytail, and unkempt condition.
3. It appears that the pictured man is wearing the same eyeglasses as Chris Chan.
4. The pictured man has awkward body language, same as Chris Chan IRL.
5. The pictured man is wearing skinny jeans and a tight T-Shirt, just as Chris Chan has been doing.
6. From what can be seen of the man's face, it looks like it certainly could be Chris Chan.
I wish we had a better view of his face, but I'm pretty damn sure that that's him.
 
Damnit, Chris, you can't be going into Target dressed like you're going to Walmart.

Is he wearing a girdle? Looking at where the top of the jeans would sit, and the roll of stomach just under his right arm, it certainly seems like there's some sort of control-underwear happening. Otherwise, given his weight loss and previous size, I'd expect a larger bottom roll. The silhouette is too smooth, imo.

I can believe it's him just off those legs. Chris has always looked like a pear on toothpicks.

If it's like most other Targets I've been to, the bagging area would be on the right, behind the counter/person in the foreground and/or out of frame. He could have pushed the cart up to that area and we just don't see it. But I think we can figure out if it's Chris or not regardless of the truthfulness of the guy's story (which we can't really verify).

Seriously, though, he's looking much better than he has in ages. He still has a lardy middle and a hunchback, but at this point he could pass off for a dirty hippie.

I can't stop laughing because I'm pretty sure my sister has the same pair of boots. They're supposed to be Ugg knockoffs but the material is so cheap it's constantly collapsing on itself and they always look like a Shar Pei dog hide.

Ok seriously though I'm surprised he's losing weight at such a rapid rate, even if he's eating a lot less, the fact that it's still shitty food and he's getting no reasonable exercise means he'd at least be breaking even at best. I know people who've genuinely put effort into losing weight that would be delighted with that sort of weight loss. Maybe this suggests some other underlying health issues?
 
But wait... In the recent photo where he shows off his Original-HAGGLE-PROOF-Sonichu artwork for eBay, he looks a lot bigger. His face does anyways. That's a new picture, isn't it? So he lost weight, and then managed to gain weight again?

Chris does have a history of health issues. But I would like to know what can cause weight lost. For some reason I know of an illness that causes rapid weight loss, but I cannot think of what it is. Most likely his poor diet and lack of exercise is destroying his body at an alarming rate.
