Careercow Taylor Lorenz - Crybully "journalist", self-appointed Internet Hall Monitor, professional victim, stalks teenagers for e-clout

Rachels just bitching to try to glom on to the dismissal of an old lady newscaster when women started saying they deserve to work until they die
It was a bit of a thing a few months ago

That's a running theme with "online harassment of women" bullshit. Men online get the same if not worse, but they just ignore it. Meanwhile women like this will whine about it for clout.
Not just online. That's the running theme with most institutions nowadays:

"500 women were raped!"
"How many men?"
"...500 women were raped and that is bad!!"

This is what produces women like Taylor: no matter how rich and well connected she is, she's convinced she's a vulnerable group that needs to be protected by governments and society.

Not just that, they'll deliberately provoke it. They'll sit there with a stick poking at a hornet's nest and screaming about being stung, then doing it again and again. They literally ARE trolls themselves.
that's giving them too much credit - they, and many others, genuinely don't understand the causal link between actions and consequences
and why learn, when you can whinge about it and have multiple institutions sit up and pay attention to you?

Trying to follow why they are yelling at her. It has to do with the Chili Discourse. The original Twitter thread, if you haven't seen it, was about someone bringing neighbors some chili because she was kind of judging them for all their pizza boxes and wanted to make them something homemade. The internet then discussed whether she was a jerk for doing this.

The Washington Post wrote an article about it, surprisingly not by Taylor Lorenz.

The Dreaded Jai -- an account that went after Keffals/Lucas for blocking trans people of color who criticized him --has been yelling at the chili woman (@Chinchillazilla) for being a "transphobic racist," seemingly before the thread went viral. Jai is widely suspected in certain circles of Twitter of being a Kiwi Farms plant, which is why you get threads like this from Resetera saying that all the criticism was astroturfed: https://www.resetera.com/threads/wa...ial-harassers-made-her-story-go-viral.656529/
Ok so quick backstory for what you need to know

A complete random person, who is not a celebrity in any fashion, has been serial harassed for a long period of time on Twitter by basically the same group of people who harass Keffals on Twitter. This harassment has been going on for a while and included a threat to kill and eat her pet pig.

Anyway, she made a tweet about making chili for her new neighbors who she noticed were ordering food every night after moving in and figured they might like a welcome to the neighborhood fresh meal. They did, and offered to fix her fence.

However because she's a person of interest for complete shitbags, they started running with all kinds if accusations, that she was a stalker, or ableist etc...

Now why I'm writing this thread is not to rehash this, it's the fact that because these people were incessant, the criticism of her went viral and the fucking Washington Post picked it up and ran what quite frankly I'd call an irresponsible article.

The writer did seemingly no research into the fact that a lot of thd criticism was astro turf

Seemingly did not reach out to the woman who made the chili

Directly publishes a link to the thread, essentially exposing her to further scrutiny from fucking weirdos

Makes no references to the fact that the chili was accepted by the neighbors and a return favor was made.

Then brings into fucking Etiquette Experts to psychoanalyze her:

So Taylor brought up the chili lady again to say that she was "directing attacks" at other "ND" (neurodivergent?) Twitter users. Sort of just ... bringing it up for some reason? This did not sit well with people who are mad that the chili lady got a lot of harassment for something innocuous and that Taylor had to get her two cents in and kick it off again. @Chinchillazilla deactivated again, and now both sides are mad at Taylor for not valuing their history of being harassed (some siding with Chinch, some with Jai). This is the best I can figure, sorry if I missed anything. It's extremely funny.

But then Chinchillazilla returned and asked people to stop harassing Taylor.

Jai is in all likelihood a retarded Twitter-brained lolcalf, but man - they are 2-0 on escalating otherwise banal Twitter disagreements into these massive controversies that successfully fling copious amounts of shit onto legacy checkmarks, and I am flattered that so many people apparently think we are capable of an op this long-running and successful.

Like, fuck Habermann and rDrama, Kiwi Farms is out here with the real 576,000 hour ops, nigga :jaceknife:

Wow, Null really shoulda been Time's Person of the year. I mean that fairly unironically. I'm not really that sure how close this site got to the end, but to me it's so important. After Keffals, I'm pretty sure nearly every one of these idiots F5's their threads all day constantly. In fact, without it all the cows kinda just petered out on Twitter until it was back. I love the callouts from, especially from this cow that bitches about being harassed online since that's how she started her career. I don't think she's known by anyone other than being 'that old woman they make fun of on the troll site'.
