I cannot stand how she writes as if she's doing text-speak, as if she's too young and cool to spell things correctly or fully. Allegedly she's a journalist who's pushing 40, yet she still uses so many 'u' and 'ur' and abbreviations.
I also think she's trying to make herself not just sound youthful, but breezy, as if she's just shooting off these tweets off-the-cuff - that all say she's completely right and anyone pointing out her flaws or terrible work or obvious bias is just a hater. She's far too calculated for that, so I expect she calculates each word as carefully as an influencer making sure they have the right angle, products in shot, lighting and setting for their oh so casual selfies.
Basically, her manipulations are far more intentional than she tries to let on, all part of the carefully crafted persona where she's a plucky young journalist covering the youth beat and getting picked on by mean misogynists and awful fascists, pouty face. She's trying to have it both ways as a hardened professional and a victimised neophyte, and it shows.
