Yep. There was a concerted push by several journalists (including Taylor Lorenz) at the start of this year to smear Substack as a Nazi / far-right platform.

I mention in December 2023 in Jackie's thread that's where Substack authors are going as that site quickly became another Medium and it was pointless to use now.

The podcast is with Vox Media, meaning that she gets some type of per episode fee plus a cut of ads. The ads are probably nothing at this point (and my God, it sounds so boring) but I bet she’ll hang on to it since her other, primary income is gone.

I would also expect a Tech Journalist for the prestigious New York Times & Washington Post to actually score interviews with tech people who really matter and are shaping the future.

Elon Musk actually has never been difficult to get brief chat with, even a fired Don Lemon got to talk with him until Elon walked out. That's someone that should be interviewed. Major people in the crypto industry should be interviewed, cybersecurity, AI Development, etc etc.

As a reminder, the Washington Post started an "investigation" 1.5 months ago, after TayTay called Biden a war criminal and then lied to her editor about it. I assume the coverup was worse than the crime, especially since it was reported on by NPR.
