Feedback Technical Grievances

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
This was prob addressed last week but any tips for not getting past the “checking for robots” captcha on Mac OS on safari. Forum works fine on everything for me but that laptop. Cleared browser history but no change.

lmk if more 503s
I just got a couple but they resolved quickly with a few refreshes.

An another one. They seem to happen most often when I'm trying to go back to the main index page from a sub-forum.

I'm getting a lot of "oops, we ran into some problems" when I try to post errors, too.

I am getting 503s fairly often when I try to view the main page. Either by going to it directly or by clicking the logo at the top from a subforum or thread

I just tried the onion service and also got a 503.

Over the past day or so the onion has been slow at best, .net seems decently quick over tor though.

Multiple 503s in the last 10 minutes

Edit: I have some threads giving me 503 or loading a while, while mainpage loads quickly

please always specify if tor or clearnet and if you're using phone or desktop.

i know this is a pain in the ass, but if any of you can tell me what IP you're connecting to when you start getting the error. On FireFox, it's under F12 on Network. On Brave/Chrome, you must manually show the hidden header for Remote IP.

31.133.0.56 has been fairly consistently failing for me. Firefox 104.0 linux

yeah I fucked with that.

If you're getting 503s on Clearnet I desperately need to know what remote IP you're connecting to.

503 just a moment ago, clearnet / desktop

EDIT: 185.254.196.174 once again

tor browser, desktop, onion domain

using a clickable link to a thread (featured content, recent posts, any kf link in community happenings) gives me either 301 Moved Permanently or 303 See Other, which redirects me to https://kiwifarms*.onion instead of http://kiwifarms*.onion, giving me an "unable to connect" error
this doesn't appear to happen for any non-thread link
"Prioritize .onion sites when known" is set to Always, but I get the same behavior on Ask every time
