Feedback Technical Grievances

Was the rate limit edited recently due to the December ddos? Haven't used protonvpn in a while but started using it again, was on free but went premium, same issue on both basically at the same time. Browsing at the same speed I usually do, opening a few extra tabs to view threads, hitting the rate limit in what feels like 30 minutes or less regardless what connection I'm using. It usually seems to be triggered by post ratings since that will be the most frequent network request when I'm on KF. Is there a way for the rate limit to be set to ignore those, as they are their own urls?

My interface looks retarded and the forums themselves as well if I use my beloved kawaii interface. (Sorry, I know.)

Everything is perfectly fine with the default, and I was still able to read and post otherwise prior to changing back, just couldn't see the ratings even if I wanted to for some reason. It was functional, just looked really ugly and it was jarring because the Kiwi Farms always look great, even despite my stupid personal preference for purple.

That explains why things are being niggerlicious on clearnet down here. I usually use Google's DNS, but I've tried my ISP's (TPG) and that too is borked.

Even TOR is struggling a bit (slowness more than anything).

This is how it looks on my end as well. I'm accessing via Chrome (latest update) and have tried clearing cookies/my cache and alternating between different VPNs but it's still wonky.

The site works great for me here in 'Murica, both on Google Chrome and on Brave (though TOR seems to be too busy hunting for robots to load the site. Hope it's enjoying itself, I guess.)

HOWEVER!

Chat refuses to load if I'm logged in.
Logged out, it's there and readable.
If I log in? Connecting to SneedChat...Connection lost. Please wait - attempting reestablish eternal loop

I'm beginning to take this personally.
lol

American Brave browserfag here. When I try to upload a video, it doesn't let me insert it. When I click post, the video is not attached to the post.

The rate limit is just fucked within the last week. Error 429 popping within minutes of logging in on a random protonvpn node. Like, within five minutes. Anyone else getting it this egregious? I don't even think I'd been getting this error ever before.

Can confirm...the formatting of the posts in each thread I visit is all retarded. I am not having any trouble loading the pages themselves, but the display is strange.

Came to +1 the 429s.

Appears to be happening most often when I attempt to give a sticker.

Additional info:
Brave for iOS
PIA VPN (happens without as well)

I switched to the Kawaii theme and it completely blew up the layout of the entire site to the point of unusability and I was unable to revert back to biden blue - I was only able to change it back because I was cookied on another machine

Forgive me if this is the wrong place to post this... I've never had a problem before and it's not super clear where I'm supposed to post

the formatting and layout when browsing threads seem to screw up a lot but not always. On one page a thread loads fine, but then the next it's all screwed up unless I reload it in a private window.
