Also I can't be arsed to look up the actual documents but ISIS just straight up tell people to kill shit without their prior involvement or approval, just be sure to pledge yourself to them publicly just before or during your attack. A while back (I'm going to be super lazy and beg off looking for it) I ran into some interesting reading that, in short, indicated that immersion in "Western depravity" prior to martyrdom is a fairly common -- if not SOP -- kind of thing. They indulge in all sorts of things they're not supposed to do like boozing it up in the lead up to their "mission". This actually is speculated to be a hardening process: they get to confirm the evils of the Western infidel first hand, they get to get the guilt-motivation of having participated in such themselves (and "debauchery" to those unaccustomed to such often leaves folks feeling ick afterwards, so it's easy to make those guilty associations viscerally), and they also are committed to seeing it through because now martyrdom is their Get Out Of Hell Free card. They're not only cleansing infidels from the world by their acts of martyrdom, they're cleansing themselves.

So it surprises me not at all if our friend here took a similar path with maybe an inverted start point: he descended into debauchery and then planned on taking down as many homos as he could manage before getting offed himself and going on to his heavenly reward. Whether he came up with the idea himself or had helping hands would be nice to know.
