Awesome 50 cent song, featuring Larry King and Mike Tyson. My favorite line, "Opie's like brother-man, Ant wants to join the Klan. " and of course Tyson's "Ooga Booga" at the end.

Since I Left You by The Avalanches might be one of the best instrumental hip hop albums I've ever heard.
Those music videos are top tier, I tell you.

Del the Funky Homosapien is one of my favourites, including his other projects (Hieroglyphics and Deltron 3030).

Spice 1 is high up on the list as well.

edited to add spoilers.

"I equate your uselessness to bitches that are bootyless"

A+
The second verse is off the fucking chain, it's honestly one of his best verses on MTI—I prefer the main album version instead of the cold shoulder edit though.

I actually came here to post some more LUM.

A lot of my favorites have already been mentioned here: Cannibal Ox, that one good Death Grips song (I've Seen Footage), Wu-Tang, etc.

Haven't looked past page 1, Aesop Rock's probably been mentioned as well, but I have to say he's probably my absolute favorite hip-hop artist out there. Not a huge fan of his production (I liked the production on None Shall Pass more than Skelethon), but the man is a fucking genius with words and abstract concepts in the form of a narrative.

Daylight is one of the most well-known of his works and he mentions it himself in other tracks as the apogee of his craft, saying "he'll never make another Daylight". Something about that track just gets me misty, and that doesn't happen often with music.
