Oh you can see exactly how much of a shitshow it is in countries that heavily restrict or completely ban abortion like most of central and south America, Malta, a good chunk of Africa, Ireland until a few years ago, communist Romania, etc. Of course abortion still happens in those places and charities like Women on the Web do everything they can to get pills to women and girls in those countries so they can have a safe abortion, but you hear about all kinds of horror stories like child rape victims being forced to gestate and birth the spawn of their rapists (and sometimes dying in the process), women dying of sepsis because doctors weren't legally allowed to yeet their dying, rotting fetuses, women being imprisoned for having miscarriages, women dying from dangerous makeshift abortions, poor teen girls commiting suicide because they got pregnant and have no way to safely abort, and tons of other horrific shit.

Though I highly suspect to lots of prolifers horrible ass shit like women dying is a feature, not a bug because they really just hate women and want to use forced pregnancy to punish them for having sex. A lot will straight up admit they think women who die deserve it, pretty sure I've seen people ITT say that. Which is another thing that shows they really don't mean all life, just embryos and fetuses.

One thing I still don't get about US prolifers though is why they don't just move to one of the many countries that heavily restricts or completely bans abortion. If you want to live somewhere abortion isn't legal, you can just move to a country it isn't. Pretty much all of those countries are Abrahamic theocracies as well, which you'd think would also be appealing to fundies. Why live in the US with it's explicitly secular government and abortion access when you can move to a prolife, Christian nation like El Salvador or Poland?

It's almost like they know those countries are oppressive shitholes that suck to live in 🤔

Yeah, it actually is. In fact it sometimes happens involuntarily. Miscarriages are literally just spontaneous abortions of a pregnancy. And humankind has been trying to figure out how to safely induce them as long as its existed.

I mean yeah, if someone is posing a threat to your life or livelihood you generally do have a right to use lethal force if necessary. Unless you live somewhere with really cucked self defense laws.

Yeah Narc moms never end well.

Hardcore pro-lifers have this delusion that having a kid will magically cause a woman to stop being a self centered fuck up but most of the time it doesn't and the kid gets horribly abused and either A: Dies B: Becomes another abusive self centered fuck up just like dear old mom or C: Escapes from Hell and releases a tell all in 20 years.

Or D. Becomes fucking crazy but at least understands theyd be abusive to any kid they had so they choose not to have any like me.

I think some prolifers have this delusion that forcing women to give birth to an unwanted kid will magically turn them into a good Christian housewife, but I think a lot just don't care what happens after the kid is born. Like they know that manipulating some junkie or whatever into keeping an unwanted pregnancy likely isn't going to end well for the kid, they just don't care because they think their job is done when the kid is squirted out. It's why they also are butthurt about a few pennies of their tax money going to social programs like food stamps, they think because they try to manipulate women into not yeeting embryos they do more than enough and shouldn't have to do any more.

Especially since some of the most infamous threads on this forum are people completely unfit to be parents who still ended up having kids for some reason who then suffered as a result like the Schofields.

If Lindsey Ellis didn't have that abortion she probably would've still ended up with a thread, it's just that the thread would've probably ended up with a horrorcow tag like most cows who pop out kids. The only way I could see that not happening is if she immediately gave custody of the kid to someone actually fit to be a parent. Lindsey is terrible but the fact that she had some bare minimum level of awareness and selflessness to realize that abortion was the best choice for everyone makes her a step above cows like Sammie Bushart or Kelly Lanza who couldn't even do that.

That too, like say what you will but the reason I went to this thread to bring it up is because I didn't want to help derail her thread any more than it already was and abortion autism is supposed to go here anyway.

It's just bizarre how many people seem to have a fetish for turning her into a tradwife by way of forced pregnancy. She's not particularly attractive and is a shitty person, why obsess over her long dead fetus instead of someone at least slightly more desirable?
