I think given the Venmo "revelations" that it has more of a financial bent. She's probably keeping the peace because Hambert owes her money for that CC and the phone stuff. I can't imagine STILL being on a plan with my ex almost 2 years later. That seems insane. Also, if Dusty did give Hambert a CC in her name, should it be paid off each month since Hambert makes so much money? I don't know. I'm having an argument with myself here. :autism:

Rickie was the kind of guy who look incredibly feminine until a certain age that then, when they turn twenty-something, they get these ciseled, handsome features that photographers love. Too bad he got into that terrible accident that screwed his brain cells too and made him look like a serial killer hillbilly.

I've always kinda wondered if they don't feel sorry enough for her to not want to bring more shit down on her... They're all obviously dumb as posts, but at least a part of me feels like AL has guilted the majority of them into not spilling her tea thru her divulging her sob stories to all of them & in a way guilt-tripping her "friends" into not saying anything negative?
Or it's like @EmpressOfLucite stated and none of them want further "commentary" from us haydurs, so they just avoid the drama (or they just silently watch & giggle like a bunch of us autists here. I'd be willing to bet at least a few of them are part-time KF lurkers

Al is manipulative as f, and has shown to have a huge temper. They likely don’t want to poke the bear.
Also, remember when Destiny’s sister supposedly told her Co-worker a bunch of AL gossip? Al wouldn’t stop hounding her until she denied it all. AL has also made Eric remove tweets and then tweet about how that’s just how they joke around, and they were swell friends. I have an inclination that she could drive someone mad until she gets what she wants. She always wants to be in control of the narrative, and will likely do what she has to to get it

The people in her life may be dumb as posts but in this instance they're probably making the right decision. To most people, it's not worth it. It's not worth confronting someone like this, much less dropping some drama bomb about them and starting all kinds of shit publicly. It's best to just tolerate the person or to move on entirely. This is how most people think and I wouldn't call it dumb.
Becky is the only one who should really be criticized about this because she's the only one who claims to love Amberlynn. She's not blameless, standard "fuck Becky" disclaimer and all that... But they have a fucked up relationship. If Becky tries to put her foot down, she gets abuse. How can you say "who cares lol" when someone who abuses you verbally and emotionally, even if that person is ultimately helpless and you still have the car keys? It still probably hurts really bad to be treated like that even if Amberlynn is ultimately the powerless one.
Even if Becky had her own money I think she'd be afraid of putting her foot down because it would mean either acknowledging that she's in a toxic, demeaning relationship and is going to take it like a chump, or acknowledging she's in a toxic abusive relationship and going to have to make a painful break. Living in denial, even if it's not a great life, is still easier than digging yourself out of a shit hole; that's why people stay in denial.
I can't imagine a person going, "Okay I love this person so I'm going to put my foot down and in doing so take the beating from this abusive piece of shit for some reason." It just doesn't make sense to me. Becky's only option if she wants to keep her dignity is to fucking leave. I don't get this stay-through-the-abuse-until-Amberlynn-gets better bullshit.
I've said before that this dilemma is exactly how so many people get trapped in abusive relationships. And just because someone gets trapped in an abusive relationship doesn't mean they're a good person. Tons of shitty toxic people get trapped with other shitty toxic people.

Rickie looks nuts but he's actually managing his anxiety pretty well. One of the best things a person with genuine anxiety can do is stay busy. Busier you are the less time you have to freak out, and keeping your mind and body occupied helps quell fear and rumination. I think that mowing the yard and cooking dinner have helped prevent Rickie from going absolutely ham on Amber.
They'd have to be pretty egregious for Dustin to care. AL filmed her in the shower and while sitting on the toilet naked. Not to mention all the times AL filmed Destiny's ass crack.
Also, I think young Rickie looks like Anna Paquin's somewhat homelier sister.

It's very common for victims in an abusive relationship to hold onto the hope that their partner will change and treat them right. The dynamic is that that the abuser (Amber) will push their boundaries and demean their partner, while the abused (Becky) will turn a blind eye and believe that everything is fine. Eventually the abused begins to think that this type of relationship is completely normal and they are the reason for everyone's problems. Becky's obviously not smart enough to see what's happening. However, I still think that if anyone will initiate the break up, it'll be Becky. Amber's past girlfriends blindsided her when they broke up, and I don't Becky is an exception. She may not be bright, but there's so much that a person can handle before snapping.

Yeah I agree with that and Becky deserves what's happening to her. It's clear from Amber's relationship track record that she finds a gullible and impressionable partner to latch onto and control. I still think Amber is abusive, but if Becky is fine with it, then that's her fault. I couldn't be happy in her shoes, but she seems to enjoy her life of coloring boxes and putting Christmas decorations on the photos of dead relatives. As long as she's fine with ballooning up to 400 pounds, then this relationship is perfect for her.
I wonder if they even have intimacy, it seems like it'd be pretty difficult for girls of their girth.

(((Certain people))) have shaped our culture and language such that the word victim is starting to mean someone who musn't be held accountable for anything, ever. I wonder which group benefits most from this?????
Anyway, Becky is too stupid to realize it is abuse or to understand how it is abuse. Even if someone explained it to her, she's too dumb to get that there's a connection between the things Amberlynn says and does, and Becky over time feeling worse and worse about herself and gaining more and more.
It's kind of like how a dog won't be able to make a connection between punishment and the thing they did wrong unless the punishment comes mid-act or immediately after. Like Becky, dogs are also greedy opportunistic creatures by nature, that doesn't mean they can't experience abuse.
