I'm probably late to the club on this one but I got a six pack of Bell's Two Hearted IPA and it's really good. Not bad for something you can get nearly anywhere.
Yeah, Two Hearted has been one of my personal go tos for awhile now. It's pretty much everything I want in my bog standard American IPA.

Sam Adams capitulated a long time ago lol, the most I hope for these days is a decent winter-variety pack. Also who are the faggots who decided to open a special taproom in fucking Ohio. God I wish every brewery who sold out would have died during shutdowns
You might not think so but Cincinnati has a few independent breweries. It’s a very German city.

It's a legendary beer and one that Bell's has managed to not fuck up over the last 20 years. Larry Bell is a (now retired) giant in the craft brewing scene. He's a total asshole, but he's also one of the reasons we have craft beer in every supermarket beer aisle now.

Dragon's Milk occasionally releases reserves, I liked the blue one (cookies and cream) and the green one (cinnamon and chili pepper), but the brown one that's supposed to be s'mores flavored is not very good.

The German side of me saw this beer called Warsteiner and just decided to grab it on a whim. Not much in the abv department but tastes good.

I've been drinking mostly lagers lately. Nothing too complicated. I prefer my beer to taste bready rather than hoppy.

The Coors Banquet beer in the little brown bottles is quite good in that regard. Average alcohol content, tastes like rich bread, no weird aftertaste. Fosters (the stuff they import to the US) is decent in that regard also.

I've not liked IPAs since I was quite a bit younger, and have been almost exclusively interested in crisp bright drinkable lagers or ales and especially pilsners since. Typically with a light body and a low abv because I also no longer drink like I did when I was younger and appreciate being able to session a few when the occasion arises. Darker ales and stouts are good for one but I drink so infrequently now that I just don't get to drink them. Milder sours are good on a hot day.

For cheap shit I think Busch Light is actually not bad

It's good on tap if you ever see it. It's apparently a popular average German beer which means by American standards great.

Been drinking guinness a lot since it doesn't give me bad hangovers. There is so much autism regarding the drink. How it's to be poured and served. Its the most basic bog standard starter level stout.

Used to work in bars and we would make a little shamrock on the head while pouring it. If we were serving friends or workmates who'd finished their shifts we'd do cocks or swastikas on them instead hee hee

A better stout is Kalamazoo Stout. Unlike Guinness, it isn't for faggots.

I'm not usually a beer drinker, more of a somerset cider fan myself. But I recently tried this gorgeous Italian IPA called L'ippa.
Would definitely recommend for those who like a slightly fruity brew

Guinness always had this weird, soapy quality to it that I found offputting. I've had people tell me the Guinness in Ireland is different and better but I have no idea if that's true.

I've heard the further it is away from Ireland the worse it tastes. I think people like to attribute some mystical qualities to it. It's just an entry level stout.

Kalamazoo does sound like a faggy name tbh.
Imperial stouts are the best but they're hard to come by. Usually expensive too.
Bitch, it is one of the best cities in Michigan, a state notorious for horrible cities.

That cooks off, which is why it's my cooking stout. And it is fairly common for regions with a famous variant of some food item to keep the best for themselves and export the crap to retards. I am pretty certain Guinness does this, as it does actually taste better at its origin.

I think Guinness is an okay beer for the most part. Years of drinking porters and imperial stouts has spoiled me, and leaves Guinness tasting kind of watered down.

Guinness is my favorite cooking stout. Equal portions of Guinness and brown sugar, reduced to half, is one of the best things to put on a roast.
